Family-friendly
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
Our farm features lush, green rolling hills with a river, creek and dam traversing the property. There are undulating hills with pockets of forest. The campsites are nestled in the groves of trees next to the creek. There's some great swimming spots, or you can go for a bushwalk and do a spot of fossicking on the water's edge. Some parts of our property are 4WD access only, but we also have good camping spots that can accommodate 2WDs. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Some parts of our property are 4WD access only, but we also have good camping spots that can accommodate 2WDs. Campfires are permitted when there's no fireban in place and the conditions are safe. Enjoy a campfire dinner or simply relax around the crackling campfire. Wood is available for sale under Extras. We allow only small dogs on leashes as we have cows on the property. Our farm features lush, green rolling hills with a river, creek and dam traversing the property. The Creek Camp
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Piggabeen by the creek. Simon greeted us and made us feel very welcome and suggested places to explore. Plenty of birdlife and an amazing number of butterflies, plus a beautiful creek for a swim made our stay perfect. While it feels like you are remote, it's hard to believe you are in the Tweed hinterland. Happy to return.

No fuss camping close to the coast
First off, the directions on Hipcamp are incorrect. The map takes you to another property about 5 minutes away. The guy at the incorrect property says it happens all the time. He directed me to the right location. Once there, it's pretty straightforward. Just pick a spot in the paddock to the right. Just watch out for the electric fence you have to disconnect, and the cow patties everywhere. Other than that, it's close to Tweed and the GC, it still feels like you're in lush bush, it's no fuss, lots of room and cheap!

Make sure you check this out....
Ronald the owner and Simon the caretaker I can not speak highly of. Don't go off the hipcamp map guid like I did. The camping and views around this camp site are amazing. Ronald has an absolute stunning property. Getting there is pretty easy I would say semi off road caravans and bigger a must. But if you have a road caravan I am sure the lads would accommodate you just fine. Can not wait to see what they have installed for this campground in the future. Go just check it out for yourself.

The Creek Camp
Gorgeous Location
An absolutely beautiful, working cattle property. A very peaceful location of vivid green hills and a pretty creek meandering through the property. We loved camping here and we want to return one day. To find the Hipcamp part of the property drive to the very end of Piggabeen Road where you will see the sign. The location is only about 16 mins to Tweed Heads and the lovely beaches of Coolangatta.
