Our quiet 25-acre property is only 15 minutes to Orange CBD, but you will feel much further on our tranquil, private and semi wooded bush camp sites with amazing views. Pets are welcome. We do ask that pets are supervised at all times and that they do not interfere with the abundant local wildlife or stock. Pitch your tent or park your RV in the paddock and enjoy the views, stars, birds and other wildlife. You will need to be fully self-contained. No toilets, bins or power provided. Tank water may be available on request. Our property has a mixture of 2WD and 4WD accessible sites and we can accommodate all types of self-sufficient camping vehicles. Campfires are allowed (fire restrictions permitting). Wood can be collected from fallen wood around the property or can be cut and provided to your site for a small fee. We are close to - The Falls https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/things-to-do/lookouts/the-falls-water-falls - Historic Water Race walking track and Fourth Crossing picnic area, - Ophir picnic reserve, 4x4 tacks and historic gold fields (take your torch) - Wineries and other local attractions. The Orange and Cabonne region also feature wineries, parks and gardens, heritage villages, bushwalking, mountain bike trails, Borenore caves, Mt Canobolas Federal falls and the Pinnacle. https://www.orange360.com.au/Things-to-do Mobile phone coverage is available in some locations (Optus is stronger than Telstra) or a short drive for full coverage. Site 2
We loved our stay! Our 16ft van (plus a swag) placed perfectly at the back of site 2 (blocks required) and we caught the sun in the morning. Had a lovely view through the trees to down the hill to a dam. Kangaroos at dawn and dusk and our Labradors had the space to sniff and play fetch. Not much in the way of grass where we set up, so make sure you have a mat to help manage the fine, dusty dirt. Easy drive to Orange should you need anything.

Great camping spot. Away from other campers, lots of wildlife and nice sunrises. Not much phone service but that’s why you go camping!

My family and I are repeat campers at this property and can't recommend it enough, plenty of space to stretch out and privacy between camp sites. We will continue to return in the future.

Excellent
We had a lovely couple of nights @ Summer Hill and can highly recommend a stay. A very shady, spacious, quite & relaxing spot to pull up and explore Orange & surrounds. Darryl & Veronica were so lovely and happy to share their knowledge about the local area. We will definitely stay again if heading through Orange.
