The old police station at Gundaroo has been converted to a gourmet pizza restaurant. There are numerous wineries nearby including Gundog at Gundaroo and all of the many Murrumbateman wineries.
Water refill and waste disposal is available at Queanbeyan showground.
The Mulligans Flat Reserve, about 10 minutes away, is a real first in Australia, given that a very large area has been set aside near Canberra to foster wildlife. A walk through the reserve is well worth while. Check it out.

Had an amazing time on Lorraine's property. We camped up the top of the hill, with amazing views down over the valley. The sunrises and sunsets were a highlight. Easy drive into Canberra, so highly recommend!
So lovely and private the view was stunning, host was so lovely and gave us lots of info on things to do around town. Very accomodating. Definitely recommend

Lovely countryside views and good flat spot for setting up camp. So much to do nearby too.
Great place to stay. View was great plenty of space, great price and location to Canberra and great privacy. Will tent here again given the opportunity. 5/5
