10 minutes on a sealed road from Gunnedah is the small Hamlet of Kelvin. Just before you reach Kelvin you will find Roen, a 5 acre property situated on the Kelvin plain between two mountain ranges with lovely views and flat, grassy areas suitable for tents or caravans. No close neighbours to bother and campfires allowed in line with any current restrictions.Some shady trees in the paddock to get out of the sun, good flat land so easy to set up. Have bore water available near the campsite along with a power point. The land is on the Kelvin plain situated between two mountain ranges offering views. There is a home on the property which is currently vacant, surrounded by large acerage farmland, no close neighbours.

Roen at Kelvin

We had a very pleasant stay at Roen. The site was large, flat and private. Access to power and bore water was a nice bonus. We found the location was good for our visit to AgQuip and exploring Gunnedah.

Roen at Kelvin

Simple, safe and great location.

I stayed here for two nights by myself and felt quite safe and comfortable. Bore water and power connection is nice and central in the site itself. The campsite was quite spacious and could fit quite a few in a group easily and the fire pit was huge! Lovely trees on one side of the site were really nice. Quite close to the road which wasn’t great but once the cars stopped it was a quiet location. The views were not quite as pictured due to the high grasses and scrub blocking the view but that may just be because of the timing that I went - I’m sure at other times it looks as pictured. The house is quite close to the campsite and looks quite untidy as you drive in but if you have your set up facing away from the house you don’t really notice it’s there! Location was great and the communication from Ryan was quick and polite. Would stay again if passing through. :)

Lovely grassed campsite with easy access. Good contact with Ryan. Great touch down for 1 night to break up a long journey and the kelpies had the zoomies in the slashed section of paddock after being in the car all day.

Grassy with a great view

Exceptionally easy to access, good communication from Ryan, nice view and flat, grassy ground. Was very hot when we went. Bring shade.
