Rustic, remote, great views
Beautiful Valley with a lovely mountain stream winding through the property. Lots of flat camp sites to choice with the backend of the property suited for 4WD with tents, or camper or hybrid camper/caravan. Incredibly private and quiet. If you want to you can use the Shed rustic shower and toilet facility. There is also a great covered area (machinery carport) which has been converted to a common area to hangout out in. We even made use of the woodfire pizza oven and generated some great pizzas while sipping wine and enjoying the ambience of this remote location (which was only 30 min from Wauchope town centre) if you want to have lunch at the pub, get some provisions or do some shopping.
Great country camping!
Huge beautiful property where paddocks merge into bush, great setting for a campsite!
Camped right next to the creek, which was perfect after recent rain, where the kids spent everyday swimming.
Paul and Kristen were very helpful, even towed my friends caravan in to the campsite.
Definitely recommend it!
Kristin and Paul were such welcoming hosts and have a beautiful property in the hinterland behind Wauchope. The toilet and shower facilities are the best we’ve experienced, being very functional but still rustic and authentic. The trails up the back of the farm make for a nice 4WD’ing experience. The creek was too low for swimming when we visited but I imagine after some rain it would flow nicely.
