Sue and Matt were very welcoming hosts. Our son (4) had a great time playing with the Kelpie pups and was given a ride on the quad with Matt.
Sue delivered us some fresh vegies from the garden.
The campsite is sloped but we were thankful for the slope due to the rain we had. The hot shower at the farm house is amazing no roof to shower under the stars.
The property is centrally located to Mudgee, Gulgong, Wellington and Dubbo.
It was a great base for us to explore the Western Plains Zoo, Wellington caves. The dam is great for a dip to cool down at the end of the day.
It's deep and cold but refreshing.
Thanks Matt and Sue it was great to meet you guys

a lot of money for an uneven paddock site. grass had not been slashed, rocks everywhere. drop toilet had a wasp nest.
a quiet private site does not mean neglected.

Thank you so much Daniel. It was great to see you and Kai again. I hope you got your honey! Looking forward to seeing you again - hopefully when it’s not so wet! Cheers Sue and Matt

Lots of space and Sue and Matt were very generous with their time - the kids loved the farm rides and milking the cow.
Try Sue's wonderful honey and feta.
Western Plains Zoo and historical gold towns nearby.

Tonnes of space to spread out. The kids liked it so much we stayed an extra day - they especially loved milking the cow and meeting the sheep and alpaca.
Sue and Matt were lovely and they also offer delicious produce - including feta and honey.
Also great stuff nearby: Western Plains Zoo and the historic Holtermann collection.

If you want to spend a day or two far from the city, network and people, enjoy a sunny day or a starlit night, this is the place. Loved spending my Easter break here with my mates. Sue is very helpful to guide you to get everything sorted.

Tip: Buy Sue's eggs and honey, I wish I bought more before leaving for Sydney. They're so delicious. No need to pay for them while booking, you can pay her on spot. Water tastes different in Dubbo so taking water with you would be wise.
Have fun :)
