The property and surrounding area has plenty of open space so you can walk dogs or take a stroll.
Pets are welcome but please keep them restrained so they don't disrupt or hurt the chickens. Campfires are welcome but please ensure you abide by any fire restrictions and only use the firepit available.

Angie is extremely hospitable!!! She come to find us when we were lost on an adjacent road. We are newbie’s and she was lovely! Made sure we had dinner. She lit a campfire for us too!!
Lovely lady and highly recommended
We stopped in Hermidale on the way to Broken Hill, very convenient and the pub was welcoming. Paddock is a good stopover place. We enjoyed the lovely skies and a quick walk around before moving on.
The paddock was full of bindis (weed) and it was an uncomfortable night pulling the thorns off our feet, shoes and the tent. The location near the highway was noisy, the building site nearby didn't help and comparatively, the Cockerels crowing was pleasant :)
Angelina was a lovely host, very friendly and hospitable. She went above and beyond. She built me a fire and offered to get me dinner. Had the whole compound to myself and was very comfortable to camp.
Angelina is the hostess with the mostess! I was happy to find a safe, cheap convenient place off the Barrier Highway to sleep the night. But this cute little place in Hermidale is so much more! I was greeted with access to a toilet and great facilities. Washing up water, a fire burning in the yard and a pizza and beer already ordered from the pub (just around the corner) but delivered by the friendly and helpful Angelina to make it easy for me to settle in for the night. Angelina allowed me access to the vacant cottage so I could access the fridge, power points and even watch telly. She also helpfully provided water, bread and milk. If you want a private friendly place to stay on your Barrier Highway journey look no further.
