Great spot for festival event. Quite boggy due to weather but we had a higher spot which got us out of the mud. One thing could have been better is to have the shuttle bus come to the grounds
Re Mullumbimby Show Ground - Most sites (including powered) were inundated with about 1" of water. You could not enter your tent without dragging water & mud into your bedding area - It would have been useful if the caretaker did a walk around on Wednesday arvo or Thursday early, to get some knowledge about sites that were less water logged, and try to allocate sites that would improve the camping experience a lot.
There were "definitely" suitable areas that could have been allocated and these spaces would have made everybody's experience a whole lot better.
Amazing campsite. Owners are wonderful. Showers and toilets are unreal. For Bluesfest, bud takes 10 minutes or it’s a five minute drive and 20 minute walk to the gates
Apart from no hot water the first night it was good, amenities new and clean, nice spacious camping areas.
Great campin mullumbimby showground
Although the weather was very wet, the showgroung camping was great plenty of space and great toilet and shower facilities, very clean. Could not fault it. Great views of the mountain
Good costume service, peaceful.
Nice and quiet place.
