This open grassed area of 6 acres is 5 kms from Ellenborough Falls. We are a community-run non-profit facility available to campers. All funds raised are used to improve the grounds and hall.

There are a number of sites to choose from, some closer to amenities and others further away.
To find us follow the brown tourist signs for Ellenborough Falls- from the South -off the highway at Taree through Wingham, or from the north-Port Macquarie end through Comboyne-either way requires access over narrow, dirt roads. Larger rigs are not advised.
One toilet available and limited tank water - please BYO water and be water wise with the tank water at the hall. Well behaved pets are welcome. We do try to keep a limit on the number of animals on site at any one time so a quick notice to Kate if you plan to bring your furry friends please.

A great little place for a getaway!!

Fantastic base to explore the area.
We had a fantastic time camping this Easter. Ventured to Ellenborough falls one day, only 5 mins drive away. We were told about the rapids on rapid road, another 5 mins away so spent another day exploring those. When we climbed to the top of the rapids found a child friendly swimming area. The campsite was well spaced out and the other campers were a good distance away. The facilities were clean too. All up, a fantastic holiday and great memories that we have taken with us. Thank you so much for your hospitality and letting us camp there.
Had a great time at Little Plains Hall. Kate was fantastic, really accomodating. The road up was a bit washed out due to the recent rains but all is ok if you just take your time. I towed my penguin camper up there.The birds are beautiful and handy having a clean flushing toilet. Only 5 mins from Ellenborough falls. Would go back for sure.
Nice secluded location. Lovely relaxing sounds of nature. Bumpy drive up but added to the adventure. Road crew fixing part of the mountain road got me bogged on the side of the road, but towed me out. Other than that, caretakers are very friendly and communicate well.

Plenty of spaces to camp near creek, home to a couple of platypuses. Very convenient to Ellenborough Falls a must see. Kate and her husband Brett were very helpful with directions and places to see. Nice having a clean flushing toilet as well.

It was after a lot of rain when we went so there were leaches and boggy areas but still heaps of room for a big caravan and heaps of room for the kids to ride their bikes around and have fun
Small running river good to cool off in
We loved camping at little plains. We stayed in site 6 and it was such beautiful site with a path leading straight down to the river. The kids had so much fun exploring the river and paddle boarding . So much space to run around and explore, we also got to see a couple of platypus early in the morning. Close to so may local places like ellenborough falls. Would definately love to go back.
