You will have the choice of area either side of the dam were you would like to camp.

The southern side of the dam, Site 1, 2, 3, 4 are smaller sites suited to roof top tents, swags and tents, no caravans please. The rest of the site are on the northern side of the dam, please be mindful of were you pick, if you only have a tent/ rooftop or swag etc please leave the larger spots for caravans etc. thankyou for understanding.

Enjoy waking up in the morning and glancing at the sun reflecting off the water. Plenty of room for a morning walk or to just relax and listen to birds.

We are a 5 minute drive to Huskisson's pristine beaches or head out into the bush. There is access to toilet amenities (no shower), drinking water and a picnic table.

Bring your floaties and relax around the dam on the beautiful south coast under a sun shelter with a small floating platoon with a slippery dip off the end into the water or your fishing rod to try catch some Murray cod. ( catch and release )

please note  the camp is on a slight slope on the northern side of the dam, but we have cut in a few level spots for you. ( in the process of making more and waiting for the grass to grow )

We have a 4 person Paddle boat available for use, we do recommend life jackets for kids and for swimmers that are not confident swimmer.

The kids will love being able to feed our 4 goats through the fence.

Fire pits available with plenty of sticks to be collected an wood around to be burnt.

We are a family of four who love the outdoors and have plenty of knowledge of hidden gems around our area we are more them happy to share.

we have almost finished our caravan to rent out on the dams edge ( just waiting for grass to grow ) .

Situated on 15 acres with plenty of space to bring mountain bikes, fishing rod to try and catch the Murray cod that are in the dam or even  some yabbies. Recommend camping trailers swags, vans, roof tops and camper trailers. Not entirely suited to vans over 17ft

CAMP FIRES at the be only in designated drums. It is unsafe to have fires lit and left going on the ground.

Remember there is a chance other people will book the property so please be respectful with noise and no loud music. 😄

The sheltered area is a shared zone for all campers to enjoy the slide and peddle boat and to hide out from the sun, please just be mindful that there are 4 camp sites on that side and be respectful of other campers :D

There are signs from the front gate onwards to follow down, water is on the green shed on the left as you drive in if needed... Just follow those down to the dam and pick anywhere from the last gate onwards.

please remember this place is for a chilled get away not for loud music.

we are currently undergoing upgrades to the campsite, so please be patient with us, we are trying our hardest to make it the best we can make, we have had machinery here clearing flat spots and making the dam much more accessible from both sides of the camp :)

if we are fully booked and your only wanting a quick stop over please message me and we can organize somewhere for you  :)

Happy camping and thankyou for considering us to spend a night away camping ⛺️

Overall our booking experience was good. Rebecca was very responsive. Unfortunately our stay had to be cancelled due to bad weather once we arrived at the property. Better communication would have saved us a 3 hour drive and having to pay for alternate accommodation.

The campsite is nice but there are a lot of aggressive big ants there. The ants bite four of us multiple times. It was very painful. You can't avoid them as they can fly to arms, and even bite our ankles through socks... we couldn't enjoy the stay...

Pretty spot with a lovely outlook. After a recommendation at the pub, Rebecca helped me out at the last minute.
Price is probably a little high considering the amenities, but they are obviously making improvements which will make things better
Thanks for getting me out of a pinch at the last minute

Nice nearby spot to the bay! Was quiet and pretty much mosquito free. Water tap on the way in/out was a decent touch!

Overall the site was good, but it was going through some renovations so I couldn't use it as I would have like to. Also it was closer to the road than expected.

Response from Rebecca, the Host, on February 19th, 2022

We are working hard on everything to continuously improve our camp, im not sure what you mean about being close to the road? Its very far off the main road and secluded away from the road? Thankyou very much for your feed back, We hope you have a safe 2022 and saftest travels in the future :) Kindest regards. Bec

Site was ok with average surroundings, but there were a few issues:

Toilet was a portaloo that had no water so wasn't flushing and stunk so bad we couldn't use it for the whole stay.

The potable water was only a hose that was a decent walk from the sites.

Sites were also not regulated upon entry and it seemed like there were more people than there should've been. Campers were blasting music till 3am and we had a terrible sleep.

I've camped at much nicer free campsites. Not worth the $50.

Response from Rebecca, the Host, on February 11th, 2022

I am so sorry yiu didnt enjiy your stay with us, i have emailed hipcamp for this issue of people bringing their friends there without my knowledge and causing the porta loo to be over used and the music also. It is definitely not our intention for it to be used as a party hub for people to use it like that, we also had property damaged so it is very upsetting. I do apologise again, i do encourage campers to just flick me a quick message if they have any problems and i will rectify them as soon as i can. Unfortunately i wasnt home so i didnt know these problems had occurred and if i did i would of fixed them straight away. We have purchased a water tank a pump to keep the toilet full now because the services from the company arnt enough as theyvare run off their feet, Thankyou for your constructive feedback, it will be taken into high consideration. If there is anything i can do to assist with your stay im happy to offer a discounted stay if you choose to come back. , i have done everything i can to ensure this doesnt happen again.. Again this is not how the camp sites are normally or will be again. Thankyou. Kindest regards rebeccca.
