Kallarroo Farm is located near Nimmitabel outside of Cooma, New South Wales. Set near the Numeralla River, between two national parks, a short distance to the famous and beautiful Snowy Mountains. With 1000 acres of rolling country - including native forest, park-like grazing land, and three kilometers of Numeralla River frontage - there's a lot to do at Kallarroo! Stay in rural comfort in our rustic and secluded log cabin with sweeping, views down the valley and mountain property, or set up camp at our peaceful, private camping site, where you'll enjoy river views from gently sloping grassland on the boundary of the property. Either option will provide a real taste of traditional Australian farm life and allow you to explore our majestic Snowy Mountain landscape. We take great pride in being a pet-friendly accommodation! To cover the additional cleaning and maintenance required for accommodating pets, we have a pet surcharge of $50 AUD per dog per stay. We look forward to welcoming you to Kallarroo.

My friends and I stayed at Bea’s beautiful land for a night and my goodness we wished we extended our stay! such a nice wide open area and lovely little fire pit spot. So quiet and it was so nice to switch off and only hear the fire, creek and cows! definitely recommend.

What a gem!
We had a wonderful time exploring. The camp site was perfect for my old dog to explore. Plenty of wood for a fire. Great communication from the owner and tippers for fishing and about the horses. Such a shame it wasn’t longer. Sound of the trickling water at night. Lovely set up with the benches around the fire. Will definitely be visiting again. And yes you have limited reception after Nimmitabel so down load your directions. Well marked directions. Said hello to the horses and cows. Was really nice to unwind.

Beautiful spot with a good flat space for camping. Good communication and directions. The only dampener was the weather so hope we can come back again and have better luck with the weather gods.

Very quiet and secluded. Great flat camp sites. Platypus in the river each evening cows grazing on the banks. Had a visit from a echidna and a bunch of beautiful horses. Caught a beautiful rainbow trout. The night sky was unbelievable with no light pollution.

Kallarroo Cottage- Rustic Log Cabin
We had the best time!
Incredible views and an abundance of wildlife to observe. The cabin is rustic in all the right ways, but still equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for. Add a barbecue, a wood fire hot tub and a fire pit and you’ve got this amazing cabin.

If you like to get away from it all, this camp is for you. The only noise you’ll hear is the trickling water from the nearby river, the beautiful songs of the many birds in the area, a few cows and sheep and some very friendly horses will come and have a chat with you too. Plenty of wildlife to be seen. Great little camp area with a fire pit and some handy benches and a throne made from local trees. Great hosts leaving you in peace, thank you for sharing your property.
