"Jindalee" is located on a 500 acre property, 26kms east of Glen Innes on the headwaters of the Severn River, home to a number of platypus. Being situated only 2kms off the Gwydir Highway, access is very easy.
There is abundant wildlife and a pleasant track along the river, wandering in among the granite rocks, to a picnic place.
We are 40kms from Gibraltar Range National Park, pet friendly, and offer secure camping and a place to leave your pets so you can explore the area

Great spot close to Glen Innes. Small camp area, nice and quiet and private for 1-3 friends on a farm with cattle. Enjoyed camping here although it rained all the time. We had to pack up a day early due to the wet weather and the host was very kind to offer 1 day's credit if we returned. We will surely be going back again.
Jindalee is always a nice place to get away. Lovely camp ground with a toilet and it is close to Glen Innes / many of the national parks.
Was a beautiful spot. Lots of lovely bird life and kangaroos even though the weather was a bit damp at times there was plenty of opportunity to walk and explore. The caretaker checked on us regularly which was very nice. Camp-site very neat with ease of parking in a huge spot. Definitely will be back again. Grand daughter would like to come back when it snows lol.

Bob was so welcoming and friendly when I arrived and showed me where I could set up camp. Had the whole area to myself and, despite the rain, had a very relaxing stay. Beautiful rugged bushland with a little creek and open grass area. Thanks!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and very relaxing and private. We had visits from the cows and horses. Definitely go back.
This is our second stay and we loved it as much as the first time. Even though it is very cold in winter as we would expect, Bob had provided to big piles of firewood which kept us warm and toasty. Such a lovely peaceful place and our doggos have a ball too.
