"Jindalee" is located on a 500 acre property, 26kms east of Glen Innes on the headwaters of the Severn River, home to a number of platypus. Being situated only 2kms off the Gwydir Highway, access is very easy. There is abundant wildlife and a pleasant track along the river, wandering in among the granite rocks, to a picnic place.
We are 40kms from Gibraltar Range National Park, pet friendly, and offer secure camping and a place to leave your pets so you can explore the area. We offer a pet minding service during the day for a small fee for those who want to visit the National parks.

The site looking down over the valley below was spectacular, the waterway at the bottom of the property is beautiful, birdlife was everywhere, seen Kangaroos and an echidna near our site.
Bob the on site caretaker was very helpful dropping piles of firewood off and gave us plenty of local knowledge that helped with our exploring. Loved his little dog Willow.
The location is so private yet easy to access, definitely coming back.
Top spot, good road easy access. If you want to tour around the area this the place to be.

Camped here with my 3 kids during winter and loved it!! Beautiful property, so many animals to watch, creek is stunning and caretaker Bob was amazing and the kids loved him! He Made sure we had plenty of wood. We will be back! Thanks Bec, Talon, Kirra and Roxy
Lovely stay, and I would trust them with my dog anytime. Our dog is not used to being away from us, but Bob gave him special attention to make him feel secure while we played in the National Parks.
Great space unfortunately very windy for our one night camp. Would love to come back in better weather. Plenty of wood for the fire and drop toilet very clean
Beautiful spot and Leonie was a great host. Plenty of fire wood available and some cut up for us.
