The Tea garden cafe is not open as advertised and the womens toilet and shower was not cleaned while we were there and had run out of toilet paper. Very nice spot to camp.
Barry has a beautiful property, well maintained groups, awesome spot, we will be back again in the warmer months
Beautiful creek and well maintained cMp grounds, with individual fire pits and tap water. The insant hot water shower was perfect in the cold weather. The Cafe is not running though.
Absolutely tranquil spot, with the only sound the flow of the creek. Well maintained toilet and hot shower much appreciated, as was the firewood and fire pit to keep me warm. Would absolutely stay again.
Peaceful, great value and amenities
Definitely One of the best value for money campsites out of the many that I've stayed at, considering the at is well equipped with convenient, clean toilet and shower amenities for the many camping areas, and the grounds are well kept. There are many different huge camping areas and room for space and privacy for everyone. It's in a peaceful rural setting, and this venue would also make an ideal setting for a country wedding or another large special event with marquees etc. with its expansive flat lawns and amazing mountainous and forrest scenery in all directions. The nearby railway line is supprisingly quiet for a non-electrified interstate line, far quieter than suburban lines in the cities and the trains passing through weren't an issue from where I was camping, they do certainly add character to the setting and the line is interesting, historic infrastructure fairly close to the famous border loop. This was well worth the trip for Queensland even though the Lions road border crossing was still closed due to COVID-19 and access to that road was at the southern end in NSW via Mount Lindsay Highway. It was announced at the time of writing that Queensland/NSW will fully reopen so hopefully by the time you read this, the scenic Lions road from Queensland will be reopened. It was my second time staying at this venue and will definitely return in the future and highly recommend it.

Amazing Spot. Excellent service from the hosts. Beutaful Creekside campsites and room for everyone to have space, even at peak times because of the large amount of well kept fields. Also generous amount of amenities which are clean and well maintained close by all camping areas. This is the second time I've stayed here and extended my stay another night this time. It would also make an excellent venue to have a wedding or another special event with marquees etc. due to the flat, well maintained grounds and amazing scenery. Friendly kookoburras even visit the site but don't cause any nuisance. This campsite is definitely still well worth the drive from Queensland via the Mount Lindsay border crossing via NSW end of the road while the Lions road border crossing is still currently closed for Covid19, the road that way is still a very scenic drive and close to Border Ranges National park, and other sights to see, so well worth the trip.

We loved camping at Hidden Valley, Barry is a great host, friendly and just a message away if you need anything. The property is a beautiful place to spend some time just rejuvenating, the creek was stunning and refreshing too. The trains were a highlight for us coasties, we found it exciting and different. Barry was also really helpful in suggesting things to do around the area such as the border loop, trails, border ranges np eg the pinnacle look out and sheepstation creek. With the qld border currently closed, it was pretty quiet but we weren't complaining about that, it was very peaceful.
