With undulating hills of bush and farmland, we are located just 6km from Wingham and fairly close to the Manning River. One campsite is on the ridge with nice views of the valley, near the amenities. Another campsite is down the side of the ridge with a peaceful bush outlook. Our last site is a remote dam campsite if campers wants to park by the water (best access is with 4WD). This site is approx. 200 metres from amenities. Campers can choose a site on arrival. There is a toilet/toilet shower and picnic table/seating. Firewood is available for $20 and we have BBQs for hire with gas (please see extras). The farm has hilly to steep inclines with a walking track through to the back. We can organise a drive on a vintage tractor on the farm. There is hiking trails on the farm and nearby mountain. No motor bikes or quads on property please. The Manning River is good for fishing, water-sports, canoeing, sailboarding. Go for an adventure and canoe from Killawara Bridge to Old Bar Beach (approx 30 km). You can find some good spots for day trips - there is mountain biking at Taree. Ellenborough Falls are approximately 40 km away, and Wingham Brush is 6 km down the road. The townships of Forster and Tuncurry are 50 km away.

Great base for Manning area visit
Baron Ridge is a good base for any visit or events in Wingham. Basic amenities with toilet and warm shower and great bush camping views. Harry and his family are very friendly, allowing campers their own space, but available if needed. A short trip into town and ideally located for access to local sites and activities in the area. We found it a great base for the Annual Music Festival.

Our stay at Harry's land was great. On Arrival he showed us to a few spots to choose where to set up. He had multiple animals on his land which the children we able to pat and play with. We went out to the mountain bike park and came back late in the arvo to a fire going and ready to sit around. Great stay

Peaceful remote campsite
We just had a lovely and peaceful week end at this campsite (family 2 adults 2 kids) . Harry is very kind and made sure we had a flat surface for our roof tent on his land. (I recommend you reach out to him before arriving, he levelled the ground for us and even kindly started our fire pit). If you like sites surrounded by nature and few farm animals this is the place. Toilet, Hot shower available and rustic, but fun. Kids loved it. Remote, but with shops not that far in Wingham. And perfect for MTB fun days at kiwarrak MTB Parks (20min) . We need to come back, as there is more to explore as explained by Harry. See you soon!!

Camping surrounded by nature
Perfect location for a farm stay surrounded by nature. We were the only campers that weekend so felt like we had the whole land to ourselves! Harry had the fire lighting for us each day before we arrived back from our sightseeing drives and was easy going and friendly himself.

Camping at Baron ridge
Harry was a great host, always had the camp fire set up for us on return from our day trips. Harry went above and beyond for us, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely remote spot on his land. Would stay again.

Baron Ridge Campsite
Harry is a lovely guy but we were disappointed with the camping (especially for the price charged) - there were no flat/level areas; the area around the shower and toilet was a bit of a junkyard, the drop toilet was in a very small cubicle, the shower room (in the back of a machinery shed) had a pile of horse manure right near the door. Needs a lot of attention to make it a nice camping experience.
