Powered site near the Woolshed. The Woolshed has had some modifications. It has a camp kitchen, hot & cold running water, toilet & shower. There is a fridge, microwave, gas BBQ, outdoor fire pit, chairs, power and lighting. Large central area indoors. Its a delightful spot in the paddock to enjoy being "in the country" The woolshed itself is 2WD accessible. In the winter months its really quite cold overnight. There's a great outdoor firepit and I provide firewood for $10. There's a patio heater too and its 8kg gas cylinder costs $30. I will provide the first one.
This venue has been popular for families 'plugging in' their vans and for others to roll their swags out either inside the shed or under the stars. Privacy and peace and quiet in abundance here.

Camping in comfort
I had a great stay at the Woolshed. The amenities are fantastic, beautiful hot shower, fridge and microwave.
Loads of space in the shed.
Frances was very friendly and helpful, provided me with Fire wood and firewood and kindling for the large Fire Pit .
Frances helped me with car issues when I was stuck.
Thanks Frances 👍
Great facility and host
Great host and a fantastic place to stay.
We spent 3 nights while exploring the area. The shed is well equipped offering all you need for a stay. Fridge, power, bbq, utensils and bathroom facilities were perfect for our needs. Cold snap (8 degs in December!) meant the heater and fire pit were very welcome.
Highly recommend and would stay again without hesitation.
Frances was so hospitable. She replied to our texts promptly (arranging arrival time etc).
The wool shed was better than we expected and we were very thankful for it in the cold weather!!!!
She even came and had a drink with us on our last night and shared her local knowledge. Was just everything and more that we needed-even a microwave and kettle! which came in handy for the nights we couldn’t light the fire with the weather
Thank you so much!
Wonderful private campsite within the woolshed - great to have a roof over everything when it rains. Great bathroom, shower and kitchen set up. Frances was super accomodating and very welcoming.
Lots of character, and space inside and outside
Rustic charm five minutes to town
The Woolshed is a lovely large open rustic space that could accommodate large gatherings and has the convenience of attached hot shower and flushing Toilet. The surrounding grounds are private and there is a large fire pit at the rear. We parked our motor home to the side of the Woolshed and used the available power plus water that allowed us all the comforts.. Frances was there to greet us and show us to the site, whilst giving us our privacy knowing if we needed anything Frances was in the nearby house..
We had our dog with us and morning/ evening walks were peaceful, taking in all the beautiful countryside had to offer..
We were only a 5 minute drive to town but felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, just how we liked it...
We will definitely be visiting the Woolshed in the future and probably with friends as the site can accommodate quite a few people...
