Bush property of 10 hectares with a private secluded camp area. Only one group at a time so the space is all yours, please let me know of any special requests. Includes drop toilet and plenty of firewood. 2WD access and access for caravans, camper trailers, camper vans. Wouldn't recommend for large motorhomes. Campfires permitted in designated areas, help yourself to the firewood (for use on property only). You'll need your own amenities (camping toilet) and remove all waste. Bring your own drinking water. Non-drinking water available. There's lots of native wildlife on the property so dogs by request only. There are two shelter areas near the shed & container you can use. Swimming nearby at Golden Pool in Bungonia Creek in the National Park (15 minutes drive, then a 5 minute walk).One booking per property so the place is all yours Three areas 1) in front of the container. 2) adjacent to shed 3) tent site behind shed You'll need your own amenities (drinking water and toilet paper) and leave no trace. Wouldn't recommend for large motor homes. Bungonia National Park and Marulan township are about 15 mins drive south and north. Swimming in dam is ok at your own risk. No shooting and leave only footprints.

Easter bliss
Two families loved our Easter camp. Great secluded location. Very quiet and fab fire area. Good to have covered area of cabin for shade. Didn’t fancy a swim in the dam though. Very faint signal with Optus (didn’t want any!)

Fantastic Weekend retreat
Loved camping on Ghost Gums - access is private with a narrow track that leads to two sheds with verandas and a very clean drop toilet - all great for wet weather which is the weather I experienced. I set up the stretcher swag under cover and some radio equipment on the table and everything stayed dry even through the downpours. Plenty of land to walk around on and although near to a road, traffic noise was minimal. David, the host, was easy to talk with and communication was a breeze. I would.certainly recommend this Hipcamp property to anyone seeking a quick camping trip away from Sydney.

The dogs and us loved it.
Very private, we didn't see another person while we were there. The dogs loved a swim in the dam. Will definitely book this hipcamp again. Some big grey roo's came through the site.

Ghost Gums at Bungonia Bush Camp
NYE Camp
We loved our Bungonia camp trip, just what was needed to carry us into the new year. The ground was very dusty and tracked quite a lot of dirt onto our gear, however, any downside to the site was quickly minimised by the seculed and peaceful location. Combined with the surrounding flora and fauna, the location felt otherworldly, as if upon entering into a private land. I can still picture the drive in from the main road, with butterflies and trees welcoming us in. Oallen ford is a short 30 min drive from the site, which offered an incredible spot for a refreshing swim. Overall, I would recommend a stay at this site for a relaxing detox from civilisation.

Ghost Gums at Bungonia Bush Camp
Great little spot and dead easy to get to from Sydney. Bugger all road noise and really appreciated the chairs under cover as one of our died. A really cool spot if you want to get away for a coupe of nights, enjoy a book or 2 and soak in the general ambiance of the bush
