Our 2nd stay at first falls, thank you Trev and Mary such a wonderful place you have. Our September holidays were cool nights beneath naked pecan trees that welcomed morning mists followed by fun in the sun and fishing during the day.
January holidays were shaded rows of luscious green pecan trees that welcomed the cool breeze from the rivers surface. Whilst some days were a drizzle we sat high and mostly dry watching the rising and then swollen Clarence River pass us by.
Can't wait for the third.

A very beautiful spot up by the river amongst the Pecan tree plantation. We really enjoyed our stay here for 5 days. There was only a few of us with a couple dogs. There was so much space for others to join us (def get a crew next time)
We were greeted by the lovely Trevor & Mary. They showed us down to the site.
We explored the river via the bank and a our new Tinnie. Caught a small flathead with first cast off the bank. Loads of catfish from Tinnie and the odd bass. We might not have had the right bait though to get more, but cat fish def fun for the fight.
As no shower facilities etc, was content with a multiple fresh water swim in river.
Unbelievable fireworks show across the river on our last night. Just a fluke of bizarre wonderment!
Overall a thumbs up from us!

Beautiful property on the banks of the Clarence. Ideal place for kayaking adventures. You can paddle in three directions. Upriver to Copmanhurst if the river is not flowing too fast. Down River to Rogans Bridge and upriver for 2.5km and then follow the Orara River till you get tired.
Peaceful campsite amongst the pecans with river access close by. Loads of wildlife, we saw grey kangaroo, sea eagles, channel billed cukoo, water birds, turtles and lots more.
Mary and Trevor were delightful hosts, they directed us to the campsite and filled us in with some of the history of the area.
