It was just what we wanted.
It was lovely.
Very peaceful and pleasant place to stay.
The campsite was level and grass was mown.
We had a campfire with wood provided.
Anastasis was very welcoming and friendly.
I stayed at Featherstone park for a night and really enjoyed the quick break from city life, a great sized property to walk around and explore (but not so big that it’s impossible to do)
There was wood ready to go in the fire pit and and a nice flat area for my swag setup.
It’s only 30 mins from Goulburn too, so if you forget things like I did you can sort it out easy enough.
Spectacular starry skies here so setup a bbq, fire pit and enjoy a beautiful sunset and relaxing night with friends.
We enjoyed camping at Featherstone, it was a beautiful spot looking over the dam and with a fireplace stocked with wood. It was peaceful being able to sleep under the stars and enjoy the open space. Our dogs loved playing in the dam also. Tas was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place I would camp again.
Wide open spaces, very peaceful
We had a fantastic few days stay at Featherstone Park, and I can highly recommend it! The sites are nicely spaced out so it allows peace and privacy.
We were surprised to find fire pits at each site too, set up with some wood and ready to go. Although it was a very cold and windy weekend, we enjoyed ourselves a lot and will definitely be back.
Anastasis accepted our very last minute booking and then had a campfire all set up and ready to light for us when we got there the same day - what a legend! Lovely property that really makes you feel like you’re away from the hustle bustle. We used it as a stop over from Thredbo to Sydney and it was perfect for that, and took us off the main roads!
