We would like to share our beautiful property nestled in the Colo Valley with cleared grassy paddocks, some shady areas and our PRIVATE access to the Colo River, one of the most pristine rivers in NSW. Our river access is normally shallow, well suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a quiet refreshing dip with a beverage or two. Amazing sunrises, sunsets and star gazing provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife and horses in surrounding paddocks ;)

Weekends during peak times are proving to be quite busy but so far everyone is still enjoying the beautiful river and the outdoors that we have to offer. For bird watching, star gazing, serenity or more quiet times I highly recommend trying to book midweek stays.

Some sites are lacking trees so please be prepared with an extra gazebo or tarps for shade. We will be planting trees as quickly as we can but obviously takes time to grow :)

Pricing is $35 per site which includes one person. Up to 15 Extra people can be accommodated on each site at $25 per person including children. If your numbers are higher than this please reach out and I'll figure out a way to accomodate.

Pets allowed on a case by case basis, speak with Hosts :)

Dogs - $20 each on approval of host. Dogs to be contained at all times and respectful of others campers, dogs, wildlife and livestock.

Contact me for large group bookings and we can discuss site options.

Please advise details on booking including how you camp (4wd/2wd, tent, camper trailer or caravan?) and total number of guests and any requests for pets.

There is no mobile reception or internet access therefore provides the true off-grid retreat. Self sufficient campers preferred.

There are fire drums available for use or you're welcome to bring your own subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day.

There are three communal flushing toilets and one awesome hot water shower! ;)

ALL waste is to leave with you...

We have kayaks available for hire and we are happy to help transport you if you wish to have a paddle or float down the river providing the river is high enough to do so.

There are also local bush walks through National Parks and great places for mountain bike riding although I'd be mindful of holiday traffic in peak times on our local dirt roads.

The local shop, Colo Riverside is open 7 days a week just 10kms up the road providing last minute supplies, ice, bottle shop and cafe services.

Please note: Due to our location bookings may be cancelled at short notice in times of bad weather due to flooding, limited access, fire or flood warnings. We trust you will understand we are only looking out for your safety and of course Hipcamp credits will be arranged.

DeView was awesome. A beautiful campsite right near the river, with lovely clean amenities. Yara is the most amazing, generous, welcoming and accomodating host we really cannot recommend her, and DeView high enough!

Would love to go back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at DéView, it is a beautiful place. Upon entering we were greeted with a large open field, that had horses running free. Our camping spot was surrounded by the local nature and wildlife, you could hear the birds, cicadas and the river. The river is also amazing, so clear and shallow for the little furry ones. Yara was so welcoming and friendly, going so far to get a canoe from her neighbours for us to use while we were there. We created a video so you can see for yourself how beautiful the place is.

Yara is great to deal with and so accommodating. Nature and the wildlife were surreal, in our 3 days we saw kangaroos, turtles and wild turkeys. The private access to the river was ideal on the hot days and you can't beat a campfire in the evenings. The space is amazing, the toilet and hot showers were a luxury. We may have found our annual spot!

I have stayed at a few places from this site but DeView is by far the best.
The owners are really lovely and accommodating, and the campsite is beautiful.
The place has been really well thought out with a good bathroom, large spacious sites and a no generator rule so you don’t have to worry about noisy geared up campers.
They are also mindful about what dogs stay, in particular only friendly dogs are allowed so if you have a dog you don’t have to worry about it’s safety which I have had issues with at lots of other campsites. All in all they really seem to care about their guests enjoying themselves and having a peaceful getaway

We will definitely be coming back!

We had such a great time at ‘De View’. Such a beautiful place, the river is amazing and there is so much space to camp, it felt very private but everyone was also extremely friendly should you want to socialise! Facilities were great and Yara was absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We’ll be coming back with some friends- would definitely recommend! Thanks for having us to stay Yara! 😀

DeView was a wonderful getaway. Despite the weather we had we all still enjoyed the piece full spot. The river was high but the kids still loved playing in the mud.
We will definitely return
