Private sites
96% of recent Hipcampers say the sites felt private.
With over 600 acres of Australian bush, our property is ideal for campers that want their own space. We are completely off-grid (no wifi to distract you) and we run off tank water (for this reason showers are only available for two hours in the evening). There are multiple camp sites on the property - some are close to hot showers and toilets, others are within a short walking distance. Some sites are perfect for our self sufficient campers who might want a nice private location and don't need access to amenities. There are two shared camp kitchen areas (with pizza ovens and bbqs). We have two amenities blocks with toilets and hot showers and two further compost toilets located at other sites. Campfires are permitted in designated areas (check with us when booking) and firewood can be added to your booking - we do require at least 24 hours notice if you want wood. There are lots of old-style games for the kids such as cricket, tennis, playground, bikes available, a swim in the dam and general country running around fun! Unfortunately we no longer have our flying fox, but there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy. We have some great bush walking areas where you might be lucky enough to see our resident wombats or our breeding pair of Wedge-tailed Eagles. You might also be lucky enough to be there when our two kelpies, Finn and Tori, are moving sheep through the property (they like to put on a show!!). The property dates back to the early 1900s and there are numerous historic buildings on the property. The earliest is a wooden slab hut that was built around the beginning of the 19th century - the Goulburn Penny Post newspaper, dated 3 December 1904 lines the walls of the hut. It also has a two shearing stand wooden shed built by Marcus Dawe in 1922. We try to make sure all of our guests have a great experience - so if you have any special requests reach out to us and have a chat!

Great spot - especially with kids
We camped here over the Easter long weekend in a group with another caravan and two tents. When we were booking we requested to be near the amenity block and our site was in a perfect location. Right from booking Jol and Karen were super helpful and nice which made the trip even better. They even delivered some cookies and cupcakes as well as some Easter treats for the kids. We travel with a 19ft caravan and had no issues with accessing the property. There is heaps to do with the kids as well including a cubby house, slides, swings, dam, tennis court, golf and bikes.

Awesome camping!
Jol and Karen were excellent hosts, dropping by every now and again to make sure we had everything we needed, even some easter eggs! - The amenities were very clean and tidy, and there was so many activities on offer. Even though there were multiuple campsites, we were spaced out and didn't have any neighbors. Highly recommend this Hipcamp, and we will be back.

I wish I had more days here
Bring the kids. This place has a better playground than some of the council playgrounds in Brisbane. Camp sites were very generous, so it didn't feel like I was on top of anyone. Amenities were well stocked, and toilet paper is provided. There's lots to do and explore. Tennis court, golf range, bikes available, swim in the dam, they've got a wood fire pizza oven, and a few BBQ's available to use

Great area nicely off the beaten track, but with the amenities you need - especially if you have kids. Fun activities, nice farm dogs and a gathering of fighting Kangaroos really made the trip! Recommended

Family trip
Great camping, great hosts we will be back. Kids loved the golf course, tennis court and the Dam. The dog had the best holiday out of everyone. We even caught a perch in the dam.

Another great stay at Boxgrove Farm
We had planned to only stay for 3 nights but ended up extending our stay for another 2. Jol and Karen are great hosts, and the property is stunning. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.
