Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
We offer riverside camping in a scenic bush country setting where you can enjoy fishing, canoeing and swimming in the calm brackish water of the Wang Wauk river, all accessible from a pontoon or boat ramp. We are located 10 minutes' drive from the Nabiac township where you will find a collection of food, beverage and interesting antique and giftware. Explore cleared and wooded areas via walking tracks and observe the varied bird and wildlife. Relax around the campfire in the evenings and enjoy some star gazing. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities, any camping group that do not bring their own toilet/shower will be turned away or agree to a $40/night extra charge and allowed limited access to our own toilet block located 300 metres away from camping areas. All campers must take all waste with them on departure and DO NOT use waste bins at highway turn off location. Fire pits have been provided and must be utilised, simply move them to your final camp location, also burn only clean firewood ( No pallets with Nails, etc) Firewood may be purchased on site. The property is easily accessed and located just 5kms off the Pacific Hwy. Pets on leash are welcome!

Site 3 Boat Ramp
Paul was a great host. We camped at the boat ramp site spacious and private. Easy to get into and out of the river with kayaks and paddle boards. Stunning scenery from the river. Would definitely stay again.

Nice peaceful place to camp
This was a nice peaceful place to camp, with level camping areas and plenty of space. Paul was a great host and nothing was too much of a bother. Would definiately come back for some chill time by the river. Gary

A Perfect Family Camping Getaway
We recently spent our Australia Day long weekend at this hidden gem of a camping site, and it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to Paul, the property owner. His warm and accommodating nature made our stay extremely comfortable. Paul's property is an idyllic spot for families looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We took our 18-month-old and 4-year-old, and they had an absolute blast. The property offers a variety of activities that kept our little ones engaged and excited. Fishing on the pontoon was a highlight for them, and swimming in the river was both safe and fun. They were also fascinated by the cattle on the property, adding a unique touch to our outdoor adventure. One of the best parts about this place is its privacy. Tucked away in the bush, it offers a serene and peaceful camping experience. The natural beauty surrounding the site is breath-taking, providing a perfect backdrop for a family camping trip. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a private, family-friendly camping spot. We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning to book again. If you're seeking a blend of adventure, tranquillity, and warm hospitality, this is the place to be.
