A beautifully woodland spot alongside a creek (sometimes dry, pending when we last had rain!) that is nice and private with native shrubs and sunset streaming through the trees. Meander along the bush track up to the (mini) waterfall and enjoy the natural surrounds.

Campers need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.

Access is via a short dirt track (small hill & shallow creek crossing) to a cleared area & fire pit that can accommodate a larger group.

Best suited to camping or an off-road camper trailer only (no campervans).

All sites offer some bushwalking options, an abundance of native flora and fauna including an abundance of wild birds, the occasional echidna and wombats.

Only 15 minutes to the centre of town & is a great base for your visit to Dubbo. Pets are welcome.

Leanne was an incredible host and has an absolutely sublime property. Even though we got smashed by hail, it was still a great little campsite, lots of birds and great little waterfall to fall asleep to!

Hosts were very lovely and accommodating. Nice grassed area. We didn’t end up at the 4wd spot due to rain but the spot we were in was very nice.

Scrubby Creek 1 is a very attractive bush camping site set on a well ordered and uncluttered property close to Dubbo. It is secluded and without amenities, both of which added to its appeal for us.

We loved our stay at this property and the kids enjoyed a swim in the dam and feeding the animals the next morning. Lovely sunset. Great location - on a beautiful property only 15 minutes from Dubbo. Very friendly hosts, check with Leanne before booking to help choose the best site for your camping setup / caravan. Highly recommended. Thanks Leanne & family for sharing your property.

Perfect camp spot with plenty of space! Fire pit at the site. Little easy walk along the creek to a waterfall (if it’s running). Nice and tucked away from the elements too! Plenty of room for my dog to run around!
