This is an open flat sunny site by the dam. As it is directly by the dam it is not suitable for very small children.
There are two sites for Brookes Nook one by each dam.
Drinking water and toilet are about 50 meters away in the shack.

A lovely secluded oasis
Brookes Nook Primitive , I a very pleasant and quite setting , a very enjoyable place to get you thoughts together.
The hosts are very friendly , informative and helpful if you wish to know nice places to see in the surrounding bush as well as where you can go to get supplies.
The whole property is a nice place to stay , highly recommended.
Perfect weekend away
Stayed here with a bunch of coworkers and it was the perfect escape for us. The area was super nice and clean, great for just sitting around a campfire and relaxing (especially at night with all the shooting stars going by). We really enjoyed being greeted now and then by two of the worlds best behaved dogs, and even played a game of ultimate frisbee with one of them. This campsite is perfect if your looking for a place to stay with a larger group of people
Very welcoming hosts who made us feel good as well as their dogs Titan and Brown paws. We had a lovely spot on the grass, close to the pond with a fire pit.
Unfortunately we can hear the early trafic on Martinsville road.
Good place to have a break out of big city at the bottom of the Wattagans.
Beautiful property. Not too far off the beaten track. Lovely horses, beautiful dogs (so calm and friendly, even my 5yo who is generally afraid of dogs loved Titan and Brown Paws), cool shade from the trees and plenty of space to run around, or relax by the fire. Not as much nice dry firewood as I would have hoped, so bring your own or be prepared to saw/haul some a fair distance. And a serviceable indoor toilet makes this pretty comfortable if drop toilets aren't your style. Will definitely stay again for something close and convenient.
