From this beautiful property near Bathurst, enjoy spectacular elevated views, and a classic Aussie bush setting.
There are four cleared and level campsites, each private from one another, with enough for up to 10 people. From near camp, you're spoilt with amazing views overlooking Bathhurst, towards Mt Horrible and Mt Panorama.
You'll share the space with kangaroos, emus, echidnas and more. At night, you'll discover why Billywillinga is home to the Bathurst Observatory, the skies here are often brilliant with stars.
Each campsite has its own fire bucket and hot plate (for when restrictions aren't in place). A pit toilet is around 100 metres, an easy walk away from each site, where you'll also find running water for the shower, sink and washing machine.
Macquarie River is less than 10 minutes drive away and has great fishing. Ophir Goldfields is around half-hour and is a popular tourist spot, where you can check out the mines and do tours. Root Hog Crossing and the Bridle Track to Hill End provides opportunities for 4WDing and plenty of bushwalking.
Pets welcome but please keep them controlled, in respect of wildlife and other campers.
