We had a very relaxing stay at Anthan farm. Pigs, horse, chickens, geese, ducks and a cute friendly beagle, a real farm vibe. Enjoyed having a campfire every night while gazing at the stars. Cute farm well situated for an easy drive to Canberra or Batemans Bay. The farm fresh eggs made a tasty breakfast. Will be back
We loved camping at Jonathan's place so much that we've re-booked to return next weekend with our 4 young kids. Jonathan was a great host and very responsive to messages for any questions we had. The delivery of fresh farm eggs was great! We enjoyed the sounds of nature and farm animals. The family and I look forward to sitting around the camp-fire again next week!
The host Jonathon was super friendly and called to make sure we knew where to go. We just wanted a spot to pitch a tent, so the eggs (definitely get the eggs!!) and the spa (think jacuzzi, but with extra jacuzzi) were bonuses. When we arrived Griff was there to make sure we had all we needed.
On the property you'll find a horse, pigs, ducks, gease, chooks, bees and plenty to explore.
Recommend ear plugs for sleeping due to farm life noises: cockatoos and the rooster are pretty hectic in the evening and morning respectively, and the neighbours are busy until dark.
Bush-like paddock, quiet and spacious. The guy looking after us was very friendly and the host was very generous sharing his huge spa to relax in at the end of the day. Also gave us eggs, fresh from the chooks. I would go back there! Thanks guys :)
Jon and Bel were such kind and generous hosts offering a unique balance of luxury and rustic camping experience. Jon made sure we could pitch our tents on some freshly mowed flat patch on their beautiful property. We were able to enjoy the luxury spa experience before sitting around our camp fire and enjoying dinner under the stars. It was a particularly chilli morning but the hot coffee and farm fresh eggs while watching the sun rise is a memory we will cherish for a long time. Thanks Jon and Bel for a fantastic experience.
