Welcome back to the best of Australia in the 1980s.
In Summer: Sun. Sea. Fishing. Boating. Camping. Swimming.
In Winter: Sun. Sea. Fishing. Boating. Camping. Camp fires.
Sussex Inlet is a small coastal village of 4000 people, surrounded by mountains, forests, rivers and beaches.
Staying with us (Arthur, Daniela and our dogs Missy and Tilly) is like visiting old friends who potter around on their property, enjoy meeting people and making them feel welcome and enjoy having a cuppa and a yarn.
We are creating a very low key, relaxed place, where you can just enjoy yourselves and reconnect with loved ones.
We love this place and we are grateful for the opportunity to share it with people.
Camping here is in a valley between two forest covered hills, surrounded by nature and down the road from the beach.
Down the hill and further in the valley, we have 8 caravans set up for guests and a large undercover communal area with couches, a BBQ, a pizza oven and fairy lights, where guests are welcome to hang out and chat or participate in the Armchair Olympics.
If you're interested in what we do (off grid/ permaculture/ recycling), fancy a yarn and a cuppa and the occasional baked goodie from the kitchen, then wander on over to the communal area, because that's usually where we hang out and work on stuff.
If you prefer your own company we are happy to leave you to it.
If you want to have a fire (and there are no fire bans), you can come down to the pergola. There is a fire pit there and always some wood ready to burn.
Three things we ask of all our guests:
1) Take care of the place
2) Be a good neighbour
3) Clean up after yourselves

Camp near beautiful national park
Nice enough spot in the camping area !
Sandy floor, facilities include hot water showers which is always a plus.
The community was nice and camping under the big gumtrees is beautiful.
The overall campground is work in progress ... :) a different experience to being in a natural national park for sure !
The price for a campsite was way too expensive ($75 per night, even though it was summer school holidays). We booked two nights, stayed one. On the plus side, the host is friendly and has made every effort to setup a good camp. Shower and toilet were immaculately clean. The on-site cabin area is very well presented.
On the downside, the campsites felt like we were in the middle of a construction zone. It wasn’t a nice place to camp.
Very friendly staff!!
Daniela and Arthur were so helpful and the atmosphere was perfect. We loved it so much we've already been back!
Stayed for a couple days made welcome from first moment
great hosts my rate 4stars my dogs rating 5 stars will be staying with them again great spot close to surf beach and bargain price Good area for doing Astro photography.

Daniela and Arthur’s hosting is impeccable, they are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They have a common area that everyone is welcome to share, should you feel like it (they make nice pizzas) and have a sip of their homemade Limoncello. The showers and toilet are very clean also they are environmentally self-sufficient.
They are in the process of developing the area and parts are still being established, but don’t let that put you off. They are extremely dog friendly and our pooch(Bruce the Bluey) enjoyed his time there.
We will definitely stay there again and are happy to recommend it to fellow travelers.

nice quite spot only a few hundred metres from great swimming spots , the hosts daniela and arthur are very welcoming and friendly and would definitely come back to ca,mp , thanks again
