The Sunrise Treehouse offers the most privacy of all the treehouses though still a short walking distance from the bath house (restrooms). This treehouse is furnished with a double and two single beds. Cozy linens the color of the lavender, orange and yellow sunrise and battery powered candles and lanterns add a romantic aire to this forest getaway!

Sunrise in equipped with a double propane stove and coffee press so you can enjoy your morning coffee in your own private abode. Your reservation includes access to amenities a short walking distance from the Sunrise Treehouse such as the bathhouse with flush toilets, sinks and showers and the outdoor kitchen with a community fridge, stove, microwave, propane grill, blender, coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils. Tree House Camp includes 156 acres of land bordering the US Forest Service area. There are beautiful views and easy access to Shaggy Peak, the southernmost tip of the Rocky Mountains in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Wander our land to enjoy a 20 minute hike to a creek (in wet weather) and wild flower meadow in the forest or climb up Shaggy Peak ave 3 hour round trip.

The camp is located about 25 minutes driving distance away from Meow Wolf, Old Town Santa Fe Plaza and 15 minutes to delicious food at Harry's Roadhouse or Cafe Fina.

NOTE 1: The treehouse is down a short dirt path and there is a 3 rung wooden ladder to climb into the treehouse.

NOTE: We are up a 2 mile dirt road with some hills and bumps. We are not near public transportation so you will need your own vehicle! Be aware that the roads can be snowy, icy or muddy in early spring, late fall and winter, and rutted due to rains in the summer. At those times of the year we recommend a car with front-wheel, all track or four-wheel drive and good traction tires.

Please add any additional guests 13 years and up to your reservation. (0-4 years old free, 5-12 years old 1/2 price, 13 and up $25 fee. To pay the half priced child fee please notify me and plan to pay by cash, Venmo or PayPal when you arrive.)

To maintain the tranquility of our guests stays we are taking these steps to curb late arrivals.

Since the camp is quite dark at night and site locations are spread out throughout the land we recommend you consider arriving while it is still light out. It makes locating us easier and you will get to experience our beautiful sunsets and have more time to enjoy this enchanted hilltop!

Checkin times are 4-8PM Spring, Fall and Winter and 4:00-9:45pm in Summer.

Quiet hours are 10PM-8AM.

Please do not come before 4pm without prior permission.

Once you have located your site you are welcome to leave and come back after the normal check in time without a fee but please be as quiet as possible.

Contact us asap if you need a late checkin and keep us notified of your changing ETA. A $20 late fee will be charged.

If you are much later than described we have the right to refuse entry without a refund, or place you in a site we feel will be the least obtrusive to other guests.

Brad and Ciana are always awesome hosts. This was our 3rd time glamping at the Sunrise Treehouse. We enjoyed the private trail, hiking, the beautiful view, and rock climbing.

We had another great stay at the Treehouse Camp with our friends and kids. Ciana and Brad are helpful and responsive and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a success. We enjoyed hiking around and exploring and this year the kids all climbed the rock wall. Every year there are new improvements to the camp to make our even more enjoyable. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Ciana was very welcoming and showed us around. The site is well-maintained, clean, and was easy to find. Sunrise Treehouse has great views and is a very easy walk to the main road where the bathrooms and kitchen area are. Highly recommend!

Fantastic set up in the Sunrise Treehouse. One thing my kids are always concerned about when camping is the restroom situation. The communal restroom here is far & away the cleanest I've been in when camping.

I'd do this again in a heartbeat, and I'd recommend it to anyone as a unique alternate to typical cabin camping.

Generally had a good time and especially loved the privacy and coziness of the Sunrise Treehouse even though my husband bumped his head on the rafters a few times. I would have appreciated a map of the property and especially one with available hikes. I thought the waterfall was on the property of the Treehouse camp but my subsequent understanding is that the waterfall is on National Forest Land and so was not accessible due to the fire closure. My husband would have appreciated a mirror or two in the men's bathroom as well as some electrical outlets there as well for his waterpik. And for the future, it would be good to tell folks to print out a hard copy of the directions to the camp as we had no wifi coverage and so couldn't access the link with the directions. We drove around lost for a good hour until our hosts texted us the complete directions. Definitely worth another trip once the National Forest is open. Would recommend folks consider more than a 2-night stay since between 4 PM check in one day and 10 AM check out the third day, we really didn't have enough time to fully appreciate the place. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, everything we could have conceivably needed was there and all facilities were very clean and in good working order.

We loved the tree house. It was fun and different. It has open windows with wire mesh so it felt like you were out in the open but without the bugs. We ended up using the twin beds- they were really comfortable and the double bed was kind of squeaky. Beautiful view. Ciana was very helpful and kind. Nice showers. Would do it again.

This place is really funky and they're fixing it up. Showers and toilet are clean. The treehouse where we stayed has a wall of screen so you feel like you're outside. Not good for a cold, windy night, but great for summer. The cabin was also awesome and even has electricity. We want to go back when the hiking trails are open so we can hike to Mount Shaggy.

Even the route to the land is magical. Arriving, I was so happy to be able to spend the night tucked up against such a beautiful mountain vista. Right away there is a welcoming, community feeling. Ciana is an absolute gem and was so warm and accommodating while showing me around. I brought my bike and my dog and we had a wonderful time exploring before sunset. There were plenty of blankets and I woke up so refreshed was reconnected. The screened in windows make you really feel at one with nature. I cannot wait to go back and spend more time in such a special place :)
