Description

Step on up and snag a spot at Links Tract Campground. Then, summon your best George Michael impression and sing “freedom!” Yep, this campground is free of charge. Enjoy some primitive, dispersed camping in the Santa Fe National Forest and use that freshly proclaimed freedom to explore the areas many trails by foot, bike, or horse. No horses are allowed at the campground though, so if you bring your own, you’ll have to store her elsewhere.

Camped the night of 8/16/19 and didn't get any sleep. The party across the road started blaring dance music at 11:00 pm and didn't turn it off until 2:30 am. The whole forest sounded like a club. The music was interspersed with shrill screaming. I would hate to generalize about the camping etiquette here on other nights, but maybe the word will get out that this CG is for people who want to party while they camp?
