I own 10 acres just outside of Taos and about a mile from the Earthship community and the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. My land is ideally suited for staying close to Taos and away from people- but only 1/2 mile up a well maintained dirt road- which really matters in Taos and New Mexico in general because dirt roads here can be rugged!

You are close to the hot springs (20 minutes) the earthship community (5 minutes), town (15 minutes) breweries and great hiking and biking trails (5 minutes).

I have a designated tent site and space for 2 vans. There is water from the cistern and a cold water shower that looks out at the mountains that is private and not windy.

Robert's place was awesome! It is very close to Taos, about 15/20 minute drive, but it is far enough out of town that you feel so private and secluded! The stargazing was amazing and he has 360 degree amazing views of the surrounding area. An amazing place to stay in the Taos area, especially if you want to truly feel in the middle of nature.

Really beautiful place to stay! We arrived and were greeted by the owner and his dog. We drove to the hot springs close by and has such a wonderful experience.

Camping is relaxing and scenic. Expansive views of mountains and sky’s. The host is super responsive and nice.

If you are looking for a great place to stay close to Taos, I definitely recommend this place.

Gorgeous spot with spectacular views and sunset. The night sky was breathtaking. We were blanketed by the Milky Way. Rob was a great host.

Rob was very accommodating and took the time to describe his vision for his land. My site was perfect for what I was looking for and is located close enough to town and very close to the Rio Grand Gorge. Also met a great young couple from Maryland. How could I not mention the view? The day sky is tremendous and the night sky seemed like you could touch the stars. You’ll love his dog!

Just spent a long weekend here with two friends. Beautiful desert views and amazing stars at night. Rob was extremely prompt and helpful, and just an all-around nice dude. Choya the dog is extremely sweet & we liked seeing her briefly every morning. I'd definitely use this spot again, highly recommend.

Everyone was super friendly. Just follow gps and the written directions. We had no problems finding the place. Stunning views close to the rio bridge, earthship, and taos. Would definitely recommend staying here and if we come back through we'd stay again.

With panoramic views and the smell of sage brush. We got to watch the sunset, full moon rise and a meteor shower. We slept under the stars and heard coyotes howling near by. It's very quiet and feels safe. It's close to town, easy to get to and has good wifi. Having the host on site was a bonus because he knows the area and was helpful. And the cherry on top was his sweet friendly dog.
