This site was the same site we camped on for the first 6 months living on our property while renovating our cabin. We call it Common Grounds after spending every morning in this site sipping our favorite coffee. This site sits deeper into our property and is tucked behind a nice little grove of Pine.

Mantle Rock camp provided a quiet and secluded night of comfort that you don't get from other campgrounds. Its located just far enough from any main road that you will truly get the full wilderness experience. On top of that, it is worth the trip just to meet the hosts. From the moment we entered the campgrounds, Scott and Heather made sure we had everything we needed to provide the best camping experience. They invited us into their home the following morning for breakfast and thoughtful conversation. Scott and Heather are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet, and they would love to meet you and get you connected to the outdoors.

We came into town for a quick getaway and we’re greeted by the most hospitable people we could have possibly come across. They were so kind and generous with anything that we needed. They were kind enough to invite us into their cabin just up the road from the campsite and cook us breakfast with some delicious waffles! We will DEFINITELY be coming back here soon. The best hosts ever!

Thank you so very much for your kind words, Trace. Really. It was a true pleasure having the three of you here and having great conversation over coffee. And, your pup, Jazz, was also a great guest! See you again soon!

Had a great stay with two awesome hosts Scott and Heather. The site we chose was plenty comfortable for tent camping and we spoke with the hosts several times during our stay. Scott and Heather were more than accommodating, and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here and looking forward to coming back in the future.

Mantle Rock Mountain Camp was a beautiful place to stay. Great communication with Scott with all needed info. Although they were going to be gone the night I stayed, he did reach out later to make sure all was well. I had no problem finding camp and getting my site. I stayed in Shady Pines site 2 which was a nice grassy spot with table-perfect for my tent. There are neighbors houses visible through the trees and some cool horses but for the most part it is very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again!

Site 2. Nice table and grassy area. Semi-shaded. Morning sun above Site 2. So peaceful!
