If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Carla, the host, was very friendly and willing to help. Unfortunately, the road to get to the campsite was very narrow. In a truck, we were unable to pass without brush/trees scratching the sides of the car because the road was quite narrow. Would be most appropriate for somebody with 4x4 vehicle who is okay with brush hitting their car. The site looked beautiful from what we could see.
The land is well-maintained and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. However, there was some confusion regarding where we were supposed to actually camp which lead to an uncomfortable text exchange with the host. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend this spot.
Perfect solo (or group) camping
Amazing camping by the creek! Secluded, safe, beautiful! Carla was so kind in sending directions and calling me to make sure I received the directions! No mosquitos, despite being on the water! The most beautiful place I’ve ever camped. Loved the fire pit and table too! Nice touch for such a secluded feeling!
Beautiful scenery and quiet getaway
The camp site has an amazing view! Fresh air, great amenities (fire pit, picnic table, outhouse, tree coverage, firewood) fun to walk around. If you have littles, lots of cute farm animals to see on the far stretches of the property. Only drawback was the rooster first thing in the morning, but then again it’s a farm. Wouldn’t expect anything less!
Tucked away and private. Make sure you have a high clearance 4 wheel drive vehicle as the road through the ranch is slow going. My wife and I loved waking up and hearing the bells on the sheep drifting up to our campsite from the valley. Definitely have this one bookmarked.
