We share this gift of the Chama River with many other special creatures including elk, owls, hawks, swallows, bats, hummingbirds, beavers, otters and more. The sunsets are often incredible as the sky smolders into a brilliant display of reds, oranges and hues of mother nature. We look forward to hosting you!

Perfect peaceful stay by the river. Robin & pups Mookey & Ricky welcomed us with fresh eggs & made sure we were squared away/settled in. Generously accommodated extras for incoming rain. Highly recommend!
Robin’s place is lovely. I got to camp right on the banks of the river, and spent many hours just gazing at the river and watching birds and decompressing from my stressful parenting life. I was able to pitch my tent in the shade of a Russian olive tree which was crucial on a hot summer day. Robin’s property is kind of a little compound, there are various trailers and structures all around, but the camping area is a big meadow by the river. The location is great – a mile or two in either direction from two sweet little restaurants, very close to the center of Abiquiu and all the lovely things to do there, like visit the lake and Ghost Ranch and such. Robin was a very sweet host, came out to greet me and was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back.
