Tumbleweeds Diner off Highway 60

We offer a 2 hour locals tour, visiting residents at their interesting and quirky homes and galleries, specialty shops, abandoned buildings, murals, ghost towns, and more. We will visit anywhere between a 100 year old adobe, to a remodeled midcentury modern schoolhouse turned compound, to the ghost town of Riley, Kelly Mine, Patterson Mine, an abandoned ranch turned art installation in Water Canyon, the local watering hole The Golden Spur Saloon, and more. The tour is for folks who want to fully embody the spirit of Magdalena and we have to say most of its charm are the local folks, the history, the landscape. We will conclude the tour with a meal. The tour is priced as such because we will have to find coverage at work enable for us to lead this tour.

Our vintage teardrop rental is available for folks to stay in at our Pine Street Mini Ranch property. It comes with a cushion to sleep on, basic outdoor kitchen necessities such as running water, small propane run stove, kettle for coffee or tea, and a couple of fold out camping chairs. Guests will be required to bring their own bedding such as sleeping bags, and pillows and blankets.

We have unlimited firewood for our guests to enjoy. Not applicable if there is a fire ban.

Price is for any meal with a drink. Menu options range from our popular green chile cheeseburger, spicy fried chicken sandwiches, our rice bowls with either chicken or beef, enchiladas, and more. We provide meals outside of our diner hours and for breakfast. Meals vary and depend on what we are making for that day. Send us a message ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions. Some meals can include; hearty stews, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, noodle bowls, rice bowls, and more.
