Camp on our Tumbleweeds Diner property and enjoy sweeping views of the high country mountains, breathtaking sunsets, crisp blue skies, and starry nights. Located along historic Highway 60 in Magdalena, New Mexico. 

Best suited for camper vans, road trek vehicles, car tents, RVs, car camping. Tent camping is welcome, but beware of winds! Toilets are available for guests to use during business hours or when we are on site. We can also hook you up with any water or electrical with a heads up. Our sites have rustic picnic tables and we are just minutes away from outdoor activities and the village down town area. Feel free to stop by our diner for lunch or dinner where we serve burgers, fried chicken, enchiladas, you name it. If you arrive after we are closed, let us know and we can make arrangements to prepare you a meal for additional cost.

Magdalena is known for its nature and wilderness and attracts star gazers, hunters, bikers, rock hounds, and history buffs. Nearby sights and activities include; Kelly Mine, Riley Ghost Town, Water Canyon, Box Canyon, etc. You can also visit the following local galleries and specialty shops; 802 Artworks, La Posada Gallery, Warehouse 110, Kind of a Small Array, The Marketplace, Route 60 Trading Post. For other food options, coffee check out Evett's Cafe, Magdalena Cafe, Es Press O, and Kelly's Cafe. For provisions you can go to Steer Stop Gas & Grocery, Golden Spur Saloon for packaged liquor, and Family Dollar.
