We welcome you to our gorgeous "Glamping" tipi located next to a beautiful mountain stream on our ranch in the mountains of Northern New Mexico. experience the surrounding Carson National Forest and all the recreational opportunities that it provides.

Our 22 ft Tipi can sleep 4 with a queen bed and a bunk bed, and sits on an elevated wood deck. The interior is beautifully furnished with a queen sized bed, a bunch bed, bedside tables, a device charger, and a camp stove for making coffee and tea.

We’re located 45 minutes away from Taos, and just 30 minutes away from the Ojo Caliente Hot Springs Resort. There’s hiking, rock climbing, fishing, and other outdoor activities galore all around us. We also have some of the darkest skies in the US, We are a perfect location for stargazing or astrophotography. We like to say we are in the middle of nowhere and the center of everything.

We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The 22' Tipi is well-equipped with a Queen-size bed for two, and a bunk bed  You are also welcome to bring an additional tent for two more, or we can provide a dome tent , for an additional $20 per night fee.  In the Tipi, we offer a single-burner camping stove, a kettle for heating water, a french press coffee maker and a selection of coffee and teas. We also have a cooler, and a drinking water dispenser.

Outdoors, we offer a grill for outdoor cooking, a fire pit and camping chairs, a picnic table, and a ramada with a hammock for sleeping or lounging. Your hosts also own the Chili Line Depot restaurant, 7 miles from the campsite in Tres Piedras, and you can visit the restaurant, or call in an order for pick-up. We provide a menu in the Tipi.

Right outside the Tipi you'll find a bath house with a composting toilet, a shower with hot water, and an outdoor sink for cleaning up. NOTE: During the cooler months and any other time it is below 40° F, we can't guarantee any running water. We provide bath towels and soap for you.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome during your stay. We ask that dogs do NOT get on the bed, to be respectful of other people's allergies. Please keep your pet under control, and please cleanup after your pet and put the waste in the provided trash can.

The ranch is fully off-grid. We have a solar powered charging station for you to plug in your electronic devices, but please note that the system can't handle devices that need a lot of power like blow dryers. Cell service and WiFi are unreliable at the campsite.

The Tipi will let in a little rain especially if the smoke flaps are open during a rain storm. Please ask us on how to close the smoke flaps or to help you tarp the Tipi during a heavy storm.

The Tipi is located on a 70 acre working ranch. Follow the signs and pull through the gate to the guest parking area near the campsite. We ask that you keep gates closed, and give the horses and livestock space. You'll have access to the full grounds, and you may fish in our private stocked pond (no license required,) or in the stream for rainbow trout (NM fishing license required.)

We’ve done our best to keep the campsite private and separate, so that you can feel secluded. But please know you may see your hosts Deb and Gil, as well as curious livestock, and Sally the ranch dog every so often.

Thank for choosing us and we are dedicated to providing you with an exceptional outdoor camping experience.

Deb and Gil were amazing! The Teepee is beautiful, sits right next to a creek too. They also had all we needed to cook/eat. I caught and released 8 12+ in. trout within a couple days. The night sky was amazing! We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay. We had to cut it short because our daughter got sick, but the hosts were very kid-friendly and the site was beautiful.

Debbie’s property is absolutely beautiful, with everything you could need. The teepee is really roomy with comfy beds, with a creek steps outside, a large picnic table, fire pit and plenty of seats, and above all, the views are spectacular. They are incredibly gracious hosts - this is a must visit property for glamping and highly recommended!

My sister and I stayed in the 22 foot creekside tipi for one night. We had a rainy adventure but loved every minute of it. Deborah went above and beyond to help keep everything dry and make sure we were comfortable. We woke up to beautiful, peaceful surroundings to enjoy coffee and sunshine the next morning. We hope to get the opportunity to visit again!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful tipi!!! The land was absolutely stunning, with a peaceful creek running alongside. The fire pit was perfect for big old camp fires! Their is no noise pollution around at all, so incredible star gazing. The compost toilet and shower worked great, very convenient. There’s also a sink station to clean dishes, which are all supplied. Deb and Gil are the sweetest hosts we could have asked for! Super accommodating and welcoming! Very wonderful people and they own the Chili Line Restaurant down the road 8 miles! Definitely a worthwhile visit, we really enjoyed dinner, drinks and live music! Great food, prices, hospitality… so charming! We will absolutely be booking this place again!

Doesn’t get much more relaxing 😎 Reflection of the sunset!Cozy level maximum! We were obsessed with this huge fire pit! The site had plenty of wood when we got there and Gil brought us a bunch more too!
