Nice campground with friendly staff. Booked on a holiday weekend, everywhere else was full, we got lucky that we were able to get an RV site with them. I think overall it was 5-stars, but if I were to give constructive feedback, I would say ensure every campsite had fire pits available. But still a great place, and I would go back for sure.
Peaceful oasis in nm mountains
I had a wonderful Peaceful & quiet stay at Clays wonderful campsite surrounded by mountains & trees. I arrived just before dark, and was greeted by awesome camp hosts who checked if I needed anything, which I appreciated being a solo female traveler. I woke to the most glorious views in the morning & cottonwood trees providing shade.. The site is great, lots of open space and a beautiful little creek to walk beside . My dogs enjoyed the space. Before I left I met the owner Clay and his lovely wife, I was super friendly and offered great tips about the local area. Worth driving uphill to the sweet ski town of Cloudcroft. I will definitely return here Whenever I’m in New Mexico.
This campground was lovely! Would definitely reccomend. The restrooms were clean, and nicley designed. The hosts were super nice and there was a little river and a feiendly duck that you could hand - feed and two cute kittens. This is definitely a great place to rest and even watch a movie or cook in the community room.
