Where to begin?! Sherry and Glen were such gracious hosts! They welcomed us with open arms and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was about 15 mins to Ruidoso and 20 mins to Lincoln, which was perfect for our needs/wants—a great home base to explore the area.
The space itself was great—a large open lot for our kiddos to run around with a gate that’s locked overnight for the added feeling of security. The spots are right next to their amazing wood furniture gallery and former distillery. Their work is AMAZING! They were kind enough to take us through the gallery and shop, and Sherry explained to us how the whole operation works. She was so good about showing my 7 & 8 year old boys the process of turning a massive tree into a beautiful table/stool/mantle, etc. She also showed the boys her large garden and allowed them to cut some herbs to bring with us on our journey. Sherry and Glen were both so great about giving us our space if we needed it, but were also available to sit down and have wonderful conversations. We loved it so much here that we added another night to our stay!
I can’t recommend Sherry and Glen’s place enough. Wonderful people doing wonderful things.
