Bomvida is a working farm started summer 2020. For decades this land was part of the largest vineyard in NM until it was abandoned.

Come listen to the coyotes howl and the roosters crow as you enjoy EXPANSIVE views of the Rio Grande Valley and the Manzano Mountains.

Take a tour of the farm, pet some animals, see what we grow/make in our commercial kitchen, or visit our neighbor (a proper vineyard with a tasting room).

Each reservation includes:*

  • 1 Dozen Free Range Eggs
  • 1 Quart Farm Fresh Milk (Raw & filtered; Choose from goat or cow)

Being almost an hour south of Albuquerque it's dark enough on a moonless night to truly enjoy the stars!

We have 1 site currently available. Saltbrush (Site 1 on the map) is closer to the animals and Arroyo Vista (Site 2; not yet completed) is on the other side of the arroyo further away from our operations.

Chris was super helpful throughout this whole reservation. I initially booked for one car (2 people w/ attached tent) and then 2 other friends wanted to come too. He was helpful for the whole process. He even gave us some fresh eggs and we bought some fresh yogurt while we were there. It was a great experience. There are a lot of animals on the property since it’s a small farm. I was totally fine with waking up to the roosters but if you aren’t, maybe pack some ear plugs.

Wonderful farm-centric camp less than an hour south of Albuquerque. The fresh eggs and yogurt in the morning were fantastic. We had a great time and hope to stay again next time we are in the area.

Chris and his family and farm workers were welcoming and gracious. The campsite was private and easy to get to. Chris gave us a tour of his farm and kitchen, and shared some yogurt and fresh cream cheese. We bought some lovely, farm raised pork chops and home made sausage and soap. We would have bought more if we could have figured out to get the goodies home. Overall a great experience.

This camp spot is awesome! Level ground. Fire pit. Table. Great communication. Total safety and the cherry on top?! Fresh eggs and the most delicious yogurt ever in the morning. Stay here! Jana and Chris are brilliant folks. (And bring ear plugs for early rising farm animals and trains)

I absolutely loved it. I’m from Alabama was camping by myself in jeep. I’m female and I felt extremely safe there. And it was like I was camped all alone in the Desert. Which was awesome. You can hear and see traffic on the road in a distance. And they do have chickens so the rooster crows. But it was great I need awake to see the sun rise. The view was great.

The drive up spot is located in an abandoned vineyard, which the owners let you explore as you want. (Take a walk to find some river rocks in the nearby creek bed!) Fire pit and table were nice additions and the bathroom wasn’t a far walk. Site owners are nice and helpful but also let you enjoy the space in peace. Peace is definitely at this spot! I believe this is the only spot to book so seclusion and privacy was nice. You are close to a highway but being from the city, I didn’t notice the road noise. Area is in a basin, so high winds are expected but the surrounding mountains keep most the storms away and provide great sunset/sunrise views. I plan on definitely going back when I’m in the area! Owners gave us fresh farm eggs and other goodies as well!
