Relax and be inspired during your stay in the renovated Winnebago at, The Western Star. This is a quaint, cozy space designed and decorated with a mix of natural materials, old desert wood and old metal found on the property or nearby. There are 2 beds (full and a twin), 10 ft sloped ceiling, sink with cold running water- no hot water, flushing toilet, mini-refrigerator, electric 2 burner stove, toaster oven, heater, plates, forks, cups, cookware and electricity. There are curtains and sun blockers for privacy. When you wake up in the morning you will watch the sun rise over Turtleback Mountain. 1 block away is the Rio Grande and Rotary Park. It's 4 blocks to the main.

Located in the downtown area and hot springs district, the property has a well that draws out the hot springs at about 98 degrees and pours it in to an outdoor tub- perfect for a warm winter day or summer evenings. It can be reserved for an additional fee upon arrival. 4 blocks from the downtown area you can easily access other spas, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, thrift shops, and the grocery store. Wake up in the morning, walk down to the river and you'll see heron, coots, osprey, sandhill crane, red wing black birds, and so many more wildlife. The coyotes regularly sing throughout the night.

I tend the property and you may see me around if I need to do light repair work. There is a care taker for the property who lives there and may be another guest as well. The property is 1/2 a city block. Your living quarters are private but the land is shared space. I'm available to engage if desired and I respect your privacy. The property is 6 city lots large and you will have access to 4 of them.

Dogs are allowed for an additional fee. You must be responsible to clean up after them and they must be friendly with strangers.

The Winnebago itself was super cute! I felt super safe the whole time, and Jennifer was such a great host and answered our questions pretty quickly. I definitely agree with the other reviews, the toilet in the kitchen was pretty gross to think about. Also, if there is more than one person, there is only a curtain to separate the toilet from the other part of the Winnebago. It will for sure help you bond with whoever else you're there with. I do believe an outhouse would maybe be a better option? A great option for solo travelers! The outdoor seating area was also great!

This was my second stay at Jennifer's Winnebago and it was even more delightful than the first. I was touched by the addition of lights to the outdoor living space and the thoughtfully placed blankets in preparation for the weather change. Glad to know of this gem! So much character and warmth, feels like a home away from home.

I absolutely loved staying in Jennifer's Winnebago! So much so, I added an extra night for me and my dog. It's supplied with all the things I needed to rest and rejuvenate during my road trip. I appreciated the thoughtful touches inside and the sweet outdoor living space. As a solo-female traveler, I was grateful for the locked gate and knowing there was a property manager on-site.

Super cute converted home. It had everything you need and it’s walking distance from the downtown and Main Street. Cute, sleepy little town. Had a great stay here.

This space was beautiful, and definitely set up for a great time. We booked this stay on a whim after unexpectedly staying in NM on our travels across the country. Unfortunately we came in july where it was over 100 degrees outside. We were not equipped for that kind of heat, and there was a malfunction with the air conditioning. We decided to stay at a motel instead. The host was very accommodating and apologetic. I believe that this is a great place for winter time trips if you’re from the north like we are. 100% will consider staying here again if we are ever in NM.

Jennifer’s Winnebago Tiny Home was sweet! she was a great host and very accommodating. unfortunately we didn’t soak in her tub. inside the Winnebago was cute but i agree with other campers that the toilet in the kitchen felt pretty icky. we had 3 people in the tiny home and it was tight, and someone had to dookie in the middle of the night and it was pretty unpleasant. the twin bed near the steering wheel wasn’t the most comfortable as you can’t really stretch out. i think if they build an outhouse and supply a better third bed option this place would be really sweet. a plus is the location and the overall feel of the neighborhood. jennifer provided us with some instructions to get to some trails which was much appreciated.

Jennifee was highly responsive and had the place lovely. It is the perfexr get away for a tiny but useable space. I enjoyed seeing what she had done with the conversion of the Winnebago. It would be great tobsee what she does with rest of the land. I highly enjoyed the hammock and firepit. Thank-you Jennifer for hosting myself, kiddos and doggies.
