Wooded area with campsites

Tent camping at this site was very good. Quiet and private from other spots. Campfire circle came in good use. I had a good night sleep and recommend this site.

What an amazing spot! Each site is private and the sounds of nature are incredible. The fireflies were so neat. Super cool history of the property too! Just ask Mel when you get there. Mel was an awesome host who really cares about the property and he's a wicked nice and helpful guy... He made our short stopover a memorable experience. I highly recommend! One of the best hipcamps I've been to thanks to Mel and the work he does to maintain the sites without sacrificing the natural beauty we look for when camping.

This is a great spot!! Super quiet, lots of space to explore. The caretaker, Mel, was such a sweet and kind person. Only wanted to make sure we were well taken care of! I would certainly recommend this to a friend.

We couldn’t have asked for kinder and more accommodating hosts. Jeff accepted our very last minute request (we had gotten a late start heading to the DWG with our toddler, and realized we needed to car camp overnight and everything else was full). This campsite was our saving grace. Mel was the BEST host. He genuinely really cares that you’re comfortable and safe. He helped us load up on water, take our gear to the site, and started a fire for us! For $15 you get enough firewood (about two loads) to last the night! We chose to camp in the forested area, and I was stunned by the beautiful view of the stars from our little clearing. Mel covered bear safety with us and then checked in on us for the morning. He was incredible and we will definitely stay here again the next time we hit the AT

This was such a unique stay. Jeff made check in easy and had a great set up with a few options. My friend and I went on a unexpectedly rainy night and had such a good time. Mel helped us set up and was exceptionally gracious and welcoming. Quiet and peaceful spot. And it was their first time doing this!

Staying at Jeffrey’s was great! He was communicative and Mel (the person at the site) was exceptionally helpful and fun to hang out with! Would definitely recommend.
