We have 10 large sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, and can fit a few small tents. Sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and can only be accessible with SUV's or you can park and walk in.  Of the farther sites only site 9 is a drive into the site location. With sites 7, 8 & 10 you park either above or below the sites.  Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or racoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails.  There are two reservoir within a 20 minutes drive, for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through and around our property, including a ten minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

Kathleen's space was perfect for a quick getaway from the city! We had plenty of space and felt private, but still accessible and easy to get firewood/ toilets etc. The hike to the waterfall was very fun and manageable! Can't wait to tell our friends about this great spot!

My dog, friend, and I all enjoyed our camping trip to Kathleen’s land! The waterfall on the property was a short hike and another added bonus. We look forward to coming back again in the future!

Kathleen’s property was beautiful and expansive. There were a lot of great sites and a short walk to a waterfall. The outhouse was clean and kitted and she had firewood for purchase which was very helpful.

The exact kind of host and camping site that I feel like Hipcamp is made for - someone who is passionate about their property and the outdoors, who takes the time to create a bunch of great camping spots! Host couldn't be more generous and friendly and the land is really special. Make sure to check out the waterfall!

Such an amazing short getaway from NYC, from Brooklyn it only took us a little over an hour. We were lucky enough to stay at one of Kathleen’s newest site (Site 10) which hadn’t been posted on Hip Camp yet. It’s the furthermost campsite and requires high clearance or good tires, but it is so worth it.

Nearby the campground is a waterfall and a little further is a trail to a beautiful reservoir. Usually we have to drive hours upstate to get a similar experience. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Kathleen's land is beautiful and well-attended, with access to a gorgeous waterfall and hiking trails. Directions were very clear and the sites were well marked. My sister and I brought our tents and had plenty of space, but there is definitely room for RVs and other vehicles. Very quiet and peaceful, the perfect weekend getaway from NYC.

We had such a blast this weekend! Kathleen was such a nice host, the potty was a nice amenity, and the sites all seem cool. Between the frog pond, waterfall, and Highland trail there’s so much to do. Can’t wait to go back for a Linder stay.

Kathleen was helpful but not over the top which I loved. We arrived and she answered every question in detail but once we set up camp it was like our own land! Great spot!
