Great place to stay if you are in the White Mountains area. Lots of amenities while still getting a great camping experience! Everything from clean porta potties, an outdoor shower, and a station to easily grab firewood. It is also substantially less crowded than your typical camp ground. The hosts, Mike and Jen, are also extremely attentive and quick to answer any questions. I will definitely be going back with friends!
Columbus day at jefferson
Overall a pleasant experience. Pro: Beautiful grounds, what a great lawn for stargazing. Nice warm shower is wonderful for camping. Surprisingly, no animals to bother with cooking and food storage! Con: Some groups can be loud into the nights. It seems that there is no curfew or courtesy rules to respect other's peace and quietness. Out house can have some smells. The cooking grill is far above the flames so make sure to get a lot of firewood!
Mike & Jen were excellent hosts! They were very accomodating and answered all messaged quickly and professionally. The campsite itself was beautiful and had plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. Overall this was an amazing experience and I would highly reccommend this campsite to anyone.
Beautiful and spacious
Really lovely place to stay! Jen is a delightful, attentive host and really nice person. The land was beautifully maintained and enough space between campers. Would highly recommend
This place is a dream! Such a beautiful field to camp in and really well taken care of. Also a huge plus to have plenty of room for (well behaved) dogs to sniff around the campsite and play in all the space. Jen was super kind when she rolled up to our site. Would definitely stay here again.
The owners, Jen + Mike are phenomenal. They were very accommodating to our 15+ person group! The sites themselves are beautiful, we were at sites 2 + 3 that are right along with the overgrown Christmas trees, with views of the mountain! The bathrooms + shower were always clean and well-stocked! And they have firewood bundles available. They are very central to the presidential range, which makes for easy access to some beautiful hikes! We all enjoyed our time here so much and are planning to make it an annual trip! Thank you Mike + Jen!
In-tents was a-mazing
Great hosts, Jen was there to greet us upon our arrival. Showed us to our site, and had a truck full of firewood for sale. Sites are a nice change from National Forest campgrounds, and the facilities were all very clean. Amazing property with even better views. Plenty of space between sites, and all are a short walk to bathroom / showers.
Mike & Jen’s location is wonderful.
I stopped here for the night before a day in the White Mountains. I was actually the only one for the evening, but there are at least 8 campsites. The picnic table and fire pit with the grill are perfect for cooking your evening meal or just sitting around a fire enjoying it.
I was greeted by Jen who escorted me back to the field where the campsites are located. There are bathrooms and an outdoor shower available. I did not use the shower, but it apparently does have hot water. As a note, if you are in one of the farther campsites, it would be a little bit of a walk to reach the restrooms.
Overall excellent and I would recommend, particularly if you are looking for a great place near the White Mountains.
