Absolutely great stay and location!
Hope Hill was awesome. We were able to drive our suv right up to the site so it was perfect for car camping. The site is really great, with a perfect spot for our tent, plenty of seats for around the table and camp fire, and we loved the swing. On a hot day using the swing was not only fun but it acted like a fan to cool us off. Huge having a solar shower that they provided so we could freshen up after a hike before visiting breweries near by. We had plenty of fire wood and it was nice that they provided water for us to drink at the site. Our hosts gave us so many great recommendations near by, like places to eat and drink, as well as a lake to swim in and more. We will absolutely be coming back.
Great spot in the trees, tucked away, with pleasant cross breeze. I have a tent on top of my Jeep, so parked vehicle in pull out by site and slept there, but used campsite for leisure, fire, and relaxation.
Toilet in covered mini outhouse was a nice edition, and being able to sit down to do business can make your day when you do a lot of camping.
The other two sites are far enough away you feel like it's your own space. The owners do use the drive that passes right next to camp to get to their home, but this did not bother me at all, in fact I only noticed after the fact.
Evening does give you some stars that poke through the trees. I found the hammock a fun spot during the day to read and drink some coffee.
Having a table, firepit, sun shower bag, and filtered water on hand was appreciated and made for a more pleasurable and less rustic experience.
Check out Laurel Lake! It's just down the road, totally accessible, and you can wade in. Perfect for a shower!
Also, Rhododendron State Park is a few miles down the road, and has a few very lovely hikes that don't involve too much incline, but does have a few areas of mild bouldering and maneuvering. The flowers already bloomed, but its a great park for nature hikes. I spent a few hours there on all the trails.
Owners are totally cool and kind folks. They do a great job with this property! I would totally book again :)
Communication was ridiculously fast, and very courteous. Amber was very accommodating and you can tell she really cares about making sure her campers are comfortable. Am actually about to book this camp for a second time!
Cozy camping in nh
Amazing property and hosts! Laurel Lake is gorgeous definitely worth kayaking on!
Campsite was clean and perfectly setup for comfort while camping. Really enjoyed the fire pit! Definitely coming back
Cozy, welcoming and a great layout!
What a cozy site! On arrival we had firewood, potable water and solar lighting waiting for us, creating a very welcoming feel and allowed us to set up easily in low light. The mulch bed kept our tent dry in the surprise rainstorm we encountered Saturday night and was a blessing as we had not packed our ground tarp. Access to the site would be easy for any type of vehicle being right off their gravel driveway, but far enough from their house to give us tons of privacy. They even had a little shindig at their other site while we were staying and had given us forewarning there may be some noise. We didn't hear a peep. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!
Would give 10 stars if i could
BEST CAMPSITE IN NH! There's water, a well prepared wood chipped campsite for tents, totally car camping accessible, amazing camp fire site and a WHOLE TOILET! It's super easy to find, there's decent phone service and Amber and her husband are super chill🍁and they have everything you need! I would recommend for all experience levels of campers. Definitely coming back!!
