Our host and son were exceptionally polite and helpful with all questions. We had a truck with a teardrop and no issues getting in or out.
The site was perfectly clean.. We had rain the night we set up but the site drained great and no issues. The shower stall was handy and the outhouse was quite convenient. It was quiet and the view amazing. We stayed at Site 1 - out of curiosity checked out the other 2 sites which are tent sites only - cute sites with little frog ponds and nice wooden platforms. All sites we well separated.
You can tell he was very thoughtful about privacy and how the sites are placed. The little outhouse had water, sanitizer and soap for your hands and the shower enclosure had hooks for hanging a solar bag (we used a little pump that pulled hot water from bucket ). There is a spring you can fill up water from not too far away but he had some galloon jugs there just in case. We hiked the ATV trail which is within walking distance (but the noise was infrequent and not loud. ) Book away - loved it

It was a great driveway camping spot with a great view of the Maidstone Mountains. It was a little tight for my 24 foot long shuttle bus but well worth it. Only draw back Verizon was on and off. Communication with Louis was only through text which were quickly responded too. Directions were clear and my Garmin was actually correct. If ever we are travelling in this area, we will stay here again.

What a beautiful, remote location, and amazing host! We had a great time at Louie’s - he had thoughtfully provided lots of camping necessities, and was polite and knowledgeable about the whole of New England! But the real ace in the pack is the amazing rec room - I will remember the night I had talking, shooting pool and jamming with Louie for years to come. Highly recommended!

Louis was an awesome host. We camped right next to his house, but he never intruded our space which had an incredible View. He welcomed us to his recroom every evening and played his guitar and sang for us as we played pool. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and places that are good to visit My friends and i are already planning our next trip up here.

Chuck, 2 his guests and their 3 dogs, were *star* guests! It was a pleasure conversing and interacting with them. They even helped me haul water in from the nearby Mt spring. The dogs were friendly and well behaved. They left the site just how they found it! Thank you and hope to see you again. Happy Trails!
