David’s spot was awesome. Perfect place for our group gathering where there was plenty of space where we could both not annoy other campers but also made some camper friends. Slightly more secluded spots in the upper field where there also seemed to be a bit more shade. Fire pits and great communication from David.

We had a great time at Barn Door Hostel! We camped in the lower field and there was live music the entire weekend. The campsites were spread out flat which was great. Will definitely be back!

from the moment we got there, everything was hassle free. perfect if you’re having a big group camp or just for 2. to put it plainly, just a big field with spread out sites. but it’s more than that too. Dave has made the perfect chill spot. he has curated each nook of the property to be a cozy, nature immersed place to relax. to just sit on the rocks in the stream or wood-line tucked lawn chairs with views of the mountains was enough for me, but near by there is a cutie local farmers stand, plenty of trail heads, and a super close corner store with everything you might have forgot. the best part was visits from Goose (the dog). he is quite the bandit but I like to think that is part of the experience. super dog friendly too. my dog was able to be off her leash the whole time and play with the other pups. loved this place. loved the vibe. can’t wait to see what new details he adds to the property, so we will definitely be back.
