Bring your van or RV and enjoy the wonderful ocean views!

This site has a bbq and 2 bistro sets. There is a deck on the hillside which overlooks the water. The water in the bay is much calmer which makes it ideal for water sports. The area is a haven for birdwatchers, nature lovers, and foragers. There is a tide pool for swimming at the edge of the property on the ocean side. Basically in front of the big rock. Please be mindful of the currents. There are also many deer, foxes, raccoons & porcupines on the peninsula so pets must be leashed. This also means there are ticks & fleas as well.

We also have a pull-through site across the street that has no amenities other than a table. This site is reserved for trailers 35 feet and larger or for people with boats to put in.

Belding Reef Nature preserve is a hiking trail just around the corner. Kayaks and small boats can be put in at the lot across from the site. We are 20 minutes from Saint John & 20 minutes from New River Beach.

We look forward to hosting you!

We had a great time staying at Chance Harbour Hillside. The hosts were super great to deal with and answered any calls or questions we had. The spot itself couldn’t of been better, great place to park easy to back in and set up. Awesome view on a quite road, we’ll definitely be back!

Amazing location, easy to get to and very beautiful. I was able to back my 33 foot long trailer into the camping spot easily and it had a 30 amp plug very close by. Wonderful experience and great communication with host. Thank you

A gréât spot nestled up against a mossy forest, in a quiet dead end street, across the road from the water. Site included patio lights, 110v & 30A power, bbq, elevated seating deck (too many mosquitoes to be usable, though), 2 small fire pits, even a mat for your feet when exiting your camper. Lots of seaside theme decorations but not kitchsy. Clean gravel pull-in is almost level (rises slightly to the rear). Rachel offered great tips on what to do nearby. Access to superb walking trails & two beaches in walking distance. The pictures don’t really do the site Justice. Well worth a stay.
