This Ranch sits halfway between WELLS and Elko Nevada just off the I 80 if you go north of the next freeway exit 5 miles East of us (Exit 333 Deeth) you can drive north to Charleston or Jarbidge Nevada it’s about 50 miles to Charleston or northeast to O’Neil Basin, Taber creek, or 12 mile hot springs then to the south of us we have the Ruby Mountains and beautiful Lamoille Canyon they’re about 30 to 50 miles depending on the route you take if you go through Secret Pass and another 30 or so miles south you have the ruby marshes then we have south fork reservoir 15 miles south of Elko Wildhorse reservoir 60 miles north of Elko is Angel Lake about 40 miles away 8 miles south of Wells we also have Ruby Mountain Brewery just 15 miles south of Wells in Clover Valley plus many other beautiful places to visit

Lynn was very pleasant, property is easy to find not to far from freeway, neighbors far away but not to far to worry about being alone in the middle of nowhere. Easy in and out, thank you
This was a good, safe place to car camp during my road trip. The property is close to I-80 which I found very convenient. There was some highway noise but it didn't bother me. I slept in my vehicle but there was a marked, cleared area for a tent. I appreciated having a spot on Lynn's property after a long day of driving.
Perfect location for a last minute night cap. We could not get a spot at the campsite we had originally planned on. This was a safe location for us to pitch our tent. The port a potty was an added bonus. Appreciate the quick acceptance of our request to stay. Great location for an RV or trailer cute animals spotted in our way out.
Very convenient spot. Not a ton of amenities/ features but it served or purpose on the way from California to Yellowstone.
Easy on/off the highway and like other campers have noted before, there is some noise from the highway/train but it isn’t bad. The layout is also convenient if you’re towing a travel trailer like we were, you can easily pull through to get back onto the road. The portapotty had been serviced just a couple days before we arrived and I’m fairly certain we were the first to use it since. There was a labeled spigot for water and Sites 1 and 2 had signs (they are closest to the portapotty at the northern end of the road). We were looking for a convenient, pet friendly place with a toilet to stay the night while passing through Elko and the Herzog Homestead provided just that. Would definitely stay here again.
I didn’t end up staying here because my travel plans changed, but great communication, 10/10! Next time :)
