What a perfect stop on our road trip to Fruita, CO. We so loved the fresh herbs and aroma that surrounded us. First Hipcamp experience!
Beautiful farm.
Julie was very welcoming.
Peaceful.
Thanks, Patrice
This was a perfect stopping point. The farm was beautiful and Julie was so kind. I really enjoyed chatting with her. There’s a composing outhouse which was a nice change. Only caveat is that there are a lot of trucks going by on the road, so if traffic noise disturbs you I recommend bringing some earplugs.
Pfannys farm was a warm and inviting welcomed retreat. I drove up from Lincoln to get away for one night. Julie welcomed me and showed me where to put up my tent. The area was grassy and looked over their sunflowers and tall corn stalks. The walking trail around the farm was perfect for my weary soul and my old yellow Labrador. There is potable water, a fire ring, covered picnic tables, chairs and even corn hole. I was able to taste some fresh honey the bee keepers were harvested. The aroma of all the herbs especially Holy Basil was intoxicating. I would highly recommend Pfannys farm. A perfect slice of Nebraska.
Pfannys farm is a great place to stay and I wish we could have spent more time here and in this area of Nebraska. Though we didn't get to explore much, just walking around the grounds was so peaceful and calm and beautiful. It really feels like a place that is well cared for and looked after, and Julie was so welcoming when we arrived. Would highly recommend staying here!
It was such a joy to stay at Pfanny's Farm. Peaceful location with fun farm animals and very friendly hosts!
We enjoyed our stay a lot - the environment was superb, much better than we expected. we'll be back!
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Pfanny's farm. The kids (11 and 7) loved playing with the cats and chickens, and we loved learning about the farm and seeing all the hard work that our hosts Julie and Gene put into it. They made us feel at home and the site was perfect for less experienced campers like ourselves. Spent a magical evening under the stars while watching fireflies fly through the corn fields. We would definitely stay here again!
