If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We absolutely ❤️loved our time staying in the cabin! The water sounds were so peaceful and relaxing! The views driving to the property and on site were breathtaking! So many trails to access in the area and is to Bozeman, Livingston for day trips too.
Everything we needed to stay off grid was provided for us to use and we would love to come back again! Thank you for sharing your place with us, it was amazing and exactly what we needed!! Thank you Lloyd and Becky!
Everything you need, nothing you do
At the edge of wilderness, all quiet with nothing but the buzz of pollinators and the hum of the stream just outside the door. This off-grid cabin was much bigger and more comfortable than pictured, the cots were plenty firm enough and we were never cold or hot inside. The propane burners were better than my gas stove at home. Outhouse was clean and well-maintained. Nestled between two hillsides, with riparian trees and conifers among the grasses and wildflowers, the cabins are a short walk to Specimen Creek Outfitters who have beautifully trained and forgiving horses. Ralph took us novices on a breathtaking an hour's horseback ride n (lead by his able canine, Sage) through the mountain forests, meadows and streams. My city kids are begging for horses no, lol. The cabins are just 20 minutes to lovely town of Gardiner and gate to Yellowstone, but there is plenty enough in the area to enjoy while the Park is closed up north. Be sure to ride the horses, soak at the Yellowstone Hot Springs, raft in the rivers, hike the Gallatin National Forest, take a polar dip in the stream or use the pans provided for gold-panning. Also, just relax and play games or read on the porch and gaze at the stars.
Absolutely perfect! Scenic and private. Good trails nearby. Everything that you can think of is already provided. Great sleep listening to the babbling creek. Very relaxing. A definite to do again. Great hospitality.
Pristine and peaceful! We had a multigenerational group and this space was perfect for all of us. The hosts are fantastic. Pray and Lloyd were super helpful with all of our questions and had great insight on recommendations. We over packed; the cabins had everything we needed and more. We would 100% recommend, and will be back!
This place is in an amazing setting, so well stocked and comfortable. Great reprieve from the craziness of the park. The horseback riding was spectacular. Can't wait to go back to this little slice of perfection!
