This place worked out well for me. I appreciated the hookups, tidy and well maintained site and the responsiveness of the hosts. It is fairly near the train, but not enough to bother and I like trains.

I was happy to have a place to pitch our tent. The directions were clear once we found it, meaning it took a bit of careful looking! Beautiful fields, bird song, guiet all night! Hipcamp is a great option for travel especially on 4th of July weekend!

This spot was perfect to quickly pitch a tent in the middle of our road trip. The instructions made it easy to find, I enjoyed the peacefulness of the birds singing us to sleep vs the sound of the highway like other spots. The site was very open, right beside the field, the creek/pond was very low so there didn't appear much to do. However, for what we needed it was absolutely perfect! We slept so good and definitely would stop in again while on the road!

I loved tent camping on Jessica’s property. It was a little slice of paradise that I was looking for. The driving directions were great and easy to follow. As soon as I arrived Jessica came out to greet me. I had my two dogs with me and she showed them love and told me where I could take them walking to get energy out of them. The lake was gorgeous and has almost a wetland around it that creates an environment for wildlife. There were several kinds of birds around that sung all evening. And in the morning there were deer grazing. Just a little slice of heaven for an evening.

Nice, serene little spot! Was greeted on arrival by the owner which was nice. Do be aware that this spot is pretty remote, so if you want to be able to drive 10 minutes to the store this ain’t it.

This site was extremely hard to find. So much so that I ended up not even camping there. When I got to what I thought was 5 miles out, I was directed to turn down the WORST gravel road ever. I followed this road for 5 miles, only to have to turn around because the address for this place didn’t line up with Maps. When I turned around to trek the horrible 5 gravel miles back to try to get some ounce of service, I had to drive 30 minutes to get service to try to find this area. At that point I was already in Glendive and decided to cut my losses and not run around cluelessly trying to find the place and forged 150 bucks for a hotel.
I was extremely upset because after driving 6 hours to get there, I didn’t even find it.

We loved the landscape, serenity, (even despite the storms), solitude, hospitality of our hosts and freedom to roam the roads on my morning run and not see a SOUL, except my own. The rainbow was sure a gift. Advice, have your gps running before you get off the highway and DON’T accidentally end the navigation when hanging up your phone call! It’s SOS mostly on the 26 mile road up. Luckily, there are a few bars of LTE at the HIPCAMP!

This was incredible, beautiful and peaceful place to camp — a perfect spot for truck camping. Jessica and Randy were wonderfully hospitable. I didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended!!

Beautiful land. Friendly, helpful, responsive hosts. Excellent place to spend a night or four. Glendive is 25 minutes away and we got groceries and gas there. This site is very secluded and peaceful. We heard the coyotes one night, and appreciated watching the owl who rules the pond. Enjoy!

This location was perfect for us as we were seeking a quiet, private area for an overnight during a cross country drive. It is around 30 miles off the highway but completely worth it. Follow the given directions and it’s easy to get to. Jessica was a friendly and accommodating host and we would be happy to stay here again in the future. Thanks so much!

Miles from nowhere, this quiet, simple spot was the perfect place in my travels to spend a night next to the cornfield. I arrived at sunset, which was spectacular, and spent the evening amazed at the stars and the quiet. In the morning, the birds were excellent companions as I broke camp.
Jessica and her husband were very friendly and communicative. Would definitely camp here again.

This place is pretty far off the beaten path, but for me that was part of the draw—-to get away from the interstate and see a little more of the countryside. You will definitely want turn-by-turn directions saved beforehand because you’ll likely be without service. And stay on MT 254 all the way until you get to MT 524 to avoid an unnecessary off-road experience on CR 515. The pond didn’t appear to have any water and the flies were thick at dusk, but it was a peaceful spot to pitch a tent between the cornfield and some large trees. I’m glad I decided to stay there.
